I left a message on Paul's voicemail and he contacted me back by the end of the day. He was over the next day giving me an estimate on the job. The price for the estimate was competitive and a little bit lower than another estimate I had already received. He scheduled the service to be done the following week. The workers showed up on time and took care of the two oak trees. Trees looked great and no mess was left. There was a little miscommunication and the palm tree didn't get trimmed. I informed Paul of this and he was apologetic and the workers came back out and took care of it a day or so later. Paul even took the time to call me back and ensure that all work done was to my expectations. Would highly recommend.

When I first go home I thought I had a new tree in my front yard. The intertwined oak looked great. The limbs close to the house were all trimmed up, dead wood removed, interior branches thinned, and all moss and overgrowth removed. My yard is getting a lot more light from all angles now. The other trees looked equally as good. I would recomend them for anyone looking for a tree timming service. My only complains are very minor. Very little debri was left behind. A few pieces of branch and some debri on my roof top / gutters. My back gate was left open which could have caused a problem had I not noticed it immidiately as I generally go directly in to my house to let the dogs out. Since my dogs view all other animals as a food source, this could have been ugly if I had released them in to the back with gate open. Other than that, they did a bang up job.

I was very impressed with them. They had nine people come in and took care of the tree that fell in my yard. I plan to have them come out again to do more work for me.

I could not have asked for a better group of guys to help with this very large project. Paul is very responsive. He returned my calls and answers questions promptly. His team arrived on time and kept me informed the entire process. They arrived around 9 and were finished with the job and cleanup a little after 5pm. The tree removal required use of a crane to prevent damage to the power lines, my home and my neighbors home. Paul was also helpful with recommending other contractors for repairs to my driveway and installation of an irrigation system. I would definitely would recommend this company to others.

We got them off Angie's List and they were awesome. They were very nice, efficient, and did an excellent job. The price was adequate, I called 4 companies, they were all just a few hundred dollars apart, and I went with Sunbelt, because I felt more comfortable with them. One guy initially came to meet me, the workers came, the guy showed up halfway through the job, and that made me feel more comfortable. I give them high ratings and would use them again in the future if needed.

The work was done fast, professionally and everything was cleaned up before leaving. There were quite a few men working on the project and each of them were very knowledgeable and did great work. Paul was the person I had initial contact with and he was there when the job was being done. It was a very good experience. I will use them and again and recommend them.

Paul Rodiguez was able to show exactly what he was going to trim on the large oak trees with a green laser pointer and explain why. Very responsive in providing estimate and scheduling work to be completed in advance of reroofing commencement. Excellent job in trimming two clumps of decorative palms in the back yard and removing all debris.

I found Sunbelt on Angie's list. Read the reviews and decided to give them a call. Initially spoke to Paul, who coordinated an estimate visit with his partner Tim. Tim arrived when promised and evaluated my needs and gave a very fair estimate. I decided to go with Sunbelt for the work and scheduled it with Tim. Tim's team arrived when promised and he even called beforehand to let me know they were on the way. Once they got to my property, they went to work immediately. It took them several hours to complete the job and did so with great care and diligence. All Tim's guys were nice and informative as to what they were doing and why. When the job was finished, Tim did a walk-around the property with me to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. It was!!! I don't usually get "wowed" by a service companies, but Paul and Tim at Sunbelt are a definite exception! They run a great business and genuinely care about the work they do. I would definitely recommend Sunbelt Tree Service to anyone looking for a great Arborist.

Overall - Excellent. A top notch tree service that performed. Removed a very large tree (40'-50'+ tall ??) with a large trunk that was rotted on one side. The top of the tree would have crushed into our roof if we didn't have it removed. Sunbelt professionaly dropped the tree, with abolutely no damage to the house or surroundings. They had all of the equipment and staff to completly clean up the mass of branches, large logs, and debris. Excellent service is hard to find these days, I'm glad I found Sunbelt.

An old oak tree fell on my roof last night. The insurance company advised me to contact someone to cut the tree off the roof and cover hole with tarp until an aduster could be sent out. I contacted 4 companies requesting emergency assistance. Paul answered his phone at 11am on a Sunday morning. He said someone would contact me within a few minutes to get directions to my house. Before I could set down my phone; the person called. The tree was removed from my house and the roof tarped within two hours. They are coming back on Tuesday to removed the entire tree from my yard. AMAZING!!!! I will update once the tree is removed completely. update as of 10/11/11 - tree was removed this morning, quickly and efficiently. Crew of 9 showed up and huge oak tree was gone in 90 minutes. They even used a blower to clean off the driveway before they left. I live in an older neighborhood with a lot of oak trees. I've already shared Sunbelts contact info with a neighbor. Rates were very reasonable. 1/15/12 - long overdue update, my neighbor had Sunbelt come take down a couple of huge dead trees that were surrounded by power lines a couple of weeks after they removed my tree, they brought in a crane and it seemed like the entire neighborhood came out to watch the show. It was fascinating to watch the orchestration of the crane operator and the guys cutting the trees. I can't wait until they are in the neighborhood again. There was a bee hive in one of the trees that had to be removed prior to taking out the tree. Paul referrred my neighbor to a bee expert. The crew was again very quick and clean. They obviously love their jobs and take great pride in doing it well. My neighbor showed me the bill, again pricing was incredible.

We received a quick response from the company, and had Joe give us an estimate the same day. After agreeing on the work needed, we were scheduled very quickly and had the crew come out within a few days. The crew was very professional, did great work, and cleaned up everything afterwards. The owner, Paul, was also onsite to make sure everything was running smoothly. We will definitely use Sunbelt Tree Service again!

I called Sunbelt Tree to schedule an estimate. Tim arrived at the scheduled time and made suggestions to thin a mature oak tree in our front yard. I also showed him a large bay tree in our backyard that I wanted to reduce in size. The removal of the bay tree debris was an issue due to its location and manpower requirements. The crew arrived on time with the necessary equipment. They worked continually until the job was done. Co-owner Paul came to the site and met with us to ensure everything was being done to our satisfaction. We were impressed with the company's professionalism and would not hesitate to utilize their services in the future.

They arrived a little early and went right to work with a crew of about 7-8, including Paul Rodriquez, one of the owners. They were couteous and fun to watch. After performing the job exactly as requested, they cleaned up and hauled off everything they cut except some oak I requested for the fireplace. The price was an exceptional value based on multiple estimates and Sunbelt paired it with exceptional service!

I went to Angie's list to see which company's had the most positive feedback when I was deciding who I would hire for this job. The 100 or so year old side-by-side trees were probably 150 to 175 feet tall and one is approximately 8 or so feet from my house which then grows diagonal over the house. It then turned out to have both a bee swarm on it and a bee hive (approximately 2 feet tall) in it. Above the hollow cavern it where the tree top canopy grew and disbursed all of it's weight. Tim, The Arborist from Sunbelt is the ONLY ONE who figured out about the bees, the hollow hole, and the massive amount of weight the tree was supporting above it! He chose not to go in with guns blazing, a really good sign! He found a bee expert, and it took some time, but better safe than sorry. It was handled correctly, and the bees were escorted away after many strong suggestions were made to them. : ) Finally, A few weeks later ALL bees got the message and Sunbelt got the go ahead. Of course, they had to regroup. The simple plan to prune the tree was much more extensive now that we knew there was a hollow point below the entire tree top, which just happened to be over the ENTIRE ROOF! (I think this brought us up to Plan E, maybe F?) No worries, Tim and his crew are profession and can adapt on a dime. They work together like a well oiled machine. If you sit back and watch and try to figure out who the new guy on the team is, you would guess he must be on a different job. There is not a lazy, weak link among them. They were at my home from 10 am ish until almost 5pm and never once did they slow down. They left my tree, roof, and yard in better condition than my gardener does! I will definitely call Tim again when it needs to be trimmed up next year. Thanks Sunbelt for all of your hard work.

Tim Muench was our contact person and he gave us a good price and supervised the job. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job of trimming and cleaning up. Highly recommend them

Tim Muench is the owner/arborist I contacted and who promptly returned my call to make arrangements to meet and discuss the work to be done. He quietly established himself as a knowledgeable professional with a genuine interest in/concern for trees (an Arborist) and accomplishing the goals of the job (an owner). Mr. Muench provided a reasonable estimate with the price remaining as originally estimated after completion of the work. He also called at each step in the process of establishing/confirming a work date. On the scheduled date, Mr. Muench and a large crew with heavy equipment arrived in the early morning (8am), even though a storm was threatening. The team divided up according to the tasks to be accomplished and promptly began work, finishing in fewer than three hours, stopping only briefly during a very heavy downpour. Mr. Muench remained on site during the entire job and after everything was completed, discussed the results, making sure all was satisfactory (including the reason for not removing one hollow tree branch: a nesting family of flying squirrels). At the conclusion of the job, the crew cleared all debris, thus leaving the grounds clean and undamaged by the heavy equipment. Overall, Mr. Muench's professionalism, knowledge, and concern for creatures and the environment is impressive, as was the organization of the team to accomplish the high quality of work they performed.

It went exceptionally well. This is the third time I have used this company in the past five years, and each occurrence was an extremely pleasant experience. I awarded the first two jobs to Sunbelt after getting competitive bids. This time I didn't even bother. Paul Rodriguez came to the house, We went over what needed to be done and he gave me a bid. I contacted him a couple of days later, agreed to the price, and they did the job the next day. I was pleasantly surprised to recognize most of the men from when they did the last job for me in 2009, and they in turn remembered being here and what they had done. Without exception, every member of the Sunbelt team was friendly, courteous and professional. That type of service and employee continuity is very reassuring, and contributes to a high degree of satisfaction. All of the above work, including complete cleanup, was accomplished in less than two hours. I will certainly call Sunbelt the next time I need tree work done.

It's always a little disappointing when a well-rated Angie's List provider fails to deliver. Perhaps they were having a busy week and my call fell through the cracks. I was not impressed with their follow-through.

They called and came within the hour. Paul spoke with me about the tree and work started immediately. I also had them trim dead branches out of an old orange tree. The had the area cleaned and mulched the branches on site. Great professional job.

I was thoroughly pleased with this company. The job entailed quite bit of trim work, including removal of a large pine with stump grinding to prepare for installation of a new swimming pool. They were very professional in all phases of the project, from estimating to completion. The estimator was very knowledgeable about tree types, condition, removal, stump grinding and hauling. They immediately provided an insurance certificate when I requested it prior to the job and arrived promptly on the job with a very large crew. They were very thorough in their work and did all that I requested and more. The crew was skilled and courteous. The supervisor walked me through after the work was done and I asked for a bit more trimming, and they quickly did the work. Excellent in all aspects of this project. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and will call in the future as needed. Kudos to Sunbelt Tree Service!

Great as usual. I have used Sunbelt several times.

I contacted Tim Muench on Monday, 3/21 to have him come out and give me an estimate to have some trimming done on some trees around the perimeter of my home. Tim said he would be in the area later that day and we agreed to meet at a time in the afternoon. We walked around my house as I showed him the trees I wanted trimmed back that were close to my roof and screen over the pool. While in the back yard, Tim asked if I wanted a small dead tree removed near the back of the property. I decided to have that done as well. Tim quoted me a price of $450 which I thought was reasonable for the work that was to be done. When I asked about when the work could be completed, Tim said that he was available the next afternoon. I would be at work, but asked Tim to contact me about a half hour before teh job was complete so I could meet him and give him a check. The next day, Tim called me in the afternoon as promised, and told me they would be finished in approximately thirty minutes. I drove to meet him and when I arrived Tim and the six person crew were just about completed. I looked at their handiwork and was very pleased. They had trimmed all the trees that I had requested, and removed the dead tree in the yard. They were just finishing picking up all the debris from the work they had done. As we were walking back to the front of the house, I noticed a branch in the front that we had not discussed. Tim said they would take care of that one too! Before they finished they even blew off my driveway which had been covered with leaves. Job well done!

They did an excellent job. They were very good and efficient. They did a great job with the cleanup, after cutting the tree down. They broke a water pipe, while bringing the tree down, but, fixed the same, before they left. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

It's been long over do for my tree's to be trimmed along with a few tree's that needed to be taken down because I am sure if we had one more storm they would have come down on their own, on top of mine and my neighbors houses. Sunbelt Tree Service showed up prompt on the day of service. They had more men on the job than I had expected and started the job the minute they stepped foot on my property. They did an amazing job, and let me tell you this was a HUGE job. They were a little higher in price than another tree service but after talking to the owner, Paul, there was no doubt that they were going to do a better and more extensive job than the other. It took them roughly 5-6 hours and cleared all debris away. My yard actually has sunlight coming through for once! I'm happy with my decision and will use them in the future when needed. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants the job done right. Thanks guys!
