Merry Maids of Amelia Island

The initial cleaning of the house went very well and I am happy with the monthly service. The first cleaning was done by two people and now by one delightful lady who does a terrific job.

Just fine. Gave some instructions and off they went. Because they are so well trained, one has little to worry about. They clean/dust everything, no what to do and what not to do. We're fussy and we were very impressed. Two cleaners, two hours each, no wastage that's for sure.

The manager, Lori was extremely nice And accommodating for my schedule. The women seemed to be working hard , but one kept saying she might have to leave because her dog was acting funny- in my experience that's a setup for ,"I'll be leaving soon." Sure enough, she left after only an hour and half for a move-in cleaning. I also asked them to let me know if they were unable to clean a cabinet or drawer because it had not been emptied yet so I could empty it for them to clean. That did not happen. The hardest to reach cabinet in kitchen was left unclean and empty, easy to reach drawers in the bathroom were left as well. A few blatant liquid stains were left on a wall and baseboard in one if the bedrooms. Overall the job was pretty good, but not worth an A.
