Critter Control of Greater Orlando

Critter Control sent Ryan, who was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable about all kinds of wildlife. When we thought he had caught the animal, we realized that there were still some babies, who had found a spot in the wall below the crawl space. Ryan came to our house on an unscheduled visit, carefully removed a board from the side of the house, and rescued 2 baby raccoons.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I signed up for a yearly contract. The work was perfect. It was very, very good. About a week after he first came I had some ants coming in from a different direction. He came back and took care of that. It hasn't been a problem since.

I wish not to put in details, just that I am happy with my final decision.  I did not have the service so there it is unfair to a**** how this person does his job.   The date of this job is not quite clear with me because I Had surgery about the same time, That I do apologize for.

I was very pleased. They came very promptly. He was very professional and very nice. He did what he said he was going to do.

Serviceman told me that the product was pet friendly. I wasn't told to contained my cat. After he saw my cat was sitting in a puddle of the product he told me my cat could get sick and "it would be really bad". I got upset with him and at this point he told me that he had said that it was pet friendly after it was dry. I would have remebered that part if he actually had told me that, which he hadn't. He admitted that he could have handled the situation better. Sorry but it was too late the damage had been done to tarnish my experience with this company. The discounted Big Deal was not worth the headache.

It turned out okay. I didn't like that I was enrolled in their program for a year.

It went very well. The service went well. The tech provided a two hour window and honored that. They called to reschedule a few times when weather was not cooperating. The tech also called after the work was performed to provide their assessment.

Overall went as scheduled.

Two days before calling Critter Control, I heard noises above the master bedroom. Since the master is a single story area, I thought what I heard were squirrels running across the roof. BUT on the next day, when in my office next to the master, I heard noises above me, and since the office is in the 2-story section I knew something was scampering in the rafters. I called Critter Control and got a prompt call back.
We met and an inspection was done to locate all possible roof entry points. After identifying the intruder as a squirrel, action was taken to remove it and seal up the areas from future invasions. Critter Control did a great job. In fact, they were in and out of the area without me even knowing they had completed their tasks. (Obviously they called me to confirm they were done, and advise me on what had occurred)

He called me right away and continued calling periodically to set up an appointment but every time I had to let him know that I was unable to use his services.  I was purchasing a home and because the bank was taking a long time I was unable to close on the house before my coupon expired.  I was very impressed with his initiative and I have talked to other people that said he's done a great job for them.

Professional, honest but could give a more accurate picture of timing. Called at 9am, showed up at 2pm.

Critter Control did a great job. The gentleman that came out to perform the services was on time and did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and educated me what he was going to spray and where. He did as he explained and we did not see any pests after the treatment. The only thing I didn't like about the service was that they pushed pretty hard to sign up for a pest control contract. The sales pitch was pretty strong. I understand why though as this was a big deal so the reduced price was being offered to attract customers to sign up for an ongoing contract. I just wasn't looking for a contract at the time.
Overall they did a great job and if I was looking for a contract I would have signed with them. I just was just only looking for a one time spray at the time.

I purchased a coupon on Angie's list for 50% off on this service.  I really wanted insects controlled outside my home and control of moles in my lawn.  I should have called the company first to make sure what this package covered, but since it was called Critter Control and had a picture of a raccoon on their add, I assumed that this would actually cover critters as well.  My mistake.  They came out promptly and decided to spread ant bait around my house for carpenter ants, and it does seem to have helped so far.  He told me that the spiders they sprayed would be a temporary fix and true to that, they were back within a week or two.  I was disappointed that the service did not cover lawn insect and critter control, but I should have checked into that before buying the package.  I probably would not have bought it had I known.  I would definitely not pay twice the price for the service.  I still need to hire someone to spray my yard or do it myself, which is what I was hoping to avoid.  For what it is though, the customer service has been good so far, and next time I see a coupon on Angie's list, I will call the company first so that I know exactly what I am purchasing.

I had a pretty bad "ghost ant" problem on the inside and outside of my home.  I tried using Ortho home defense spray several times but the ants just relocated to other areas of the house and seemed to be getting worse.  I was getting very desperate when I saw this "deal" from Critter Control - $50 Entire Home Pest Control Treatment - Interior AND Exterior! (that is posted exactly as stated on their Angies List ad).  Given the fact that I was extremely busy with work and other home projects, I decided to outsource this important task to the so-called experts - bad move!
When I finally got them on the phone, I was given excuses almost from minute 1 about the "fine print" on their ad stating that the treatment doesn't cover infestations, to which I replied I bought the service because of the big bold sentence about entire home pest control treatment and didn't really pay attention to fine print.  I asked that they come out and provide the service I paid for and I would assess the situation from there.  They came out the same day and I was met by a guy named Mark, self-proclaimed entomologist and service manager for Critter Control.  He once again told me how my $50 wasn't going to get anything accomplished and that I could only hope to contain the problem for a week or two but certainly not solve the problem.  I didn't ask how much it would cost me to solve the problem but I can assume a monthly contract would have been just the remedy I needed for that.  He ended up spraying the perimeter of my house and then told me that he would come back to do the interior once my renovation work was done (I was putting in new floors).  After he left, there was absolutely no impact on my ant problem - what a surprise.
After a few days, the problem was getting worse so I decided to do some basic research myself.  The consensus online was to use liquid baits containing boric acid to solve this type of ant problem.  I went down to Home Depot and spent a whopping $6.50 on Terro Liquid Ant baits with Borax and put them in every room of the house.  3 days later, the bait traps were completely full and not a single ant walking around anywhere.  It's been another week since then and I still haven't seen a single ant anywhere in my home.  
Advice to Critter Control - if you don't want to waste your time with $50 deals, don't post a $50 deal.  You wasted my time and money and I recommend that anybody stay clear of these guys.

Mark was patient and answered all my questions including ones about why they did things the way they do.

Still see an occasional bug, but not very often and we keep open doors during the day if someone e is home. So far. I am satisfied

For our surprise, after 5 minutes of searching, they found out it was a lizard...they removed the lizard and did not charge us anything!!Great company...great service...I would definatelly use their services again...

The exterminator was prompt, neat, professional.  He treated every nook & crannie.  We were very pleased.

Good response to take care of the issue with roof rats. Good job on repairing the damage and removing 2 rats. One suggestion for future client is to read the print on the bottom of the estimate and contract. They will email you these documents for you to read. Know what you will be paying, work was performed without ever signing anything.
