 + 1 moreHugo and his team did an excellent job. They work very fast and efficiently, but also get the job done right. They were very professional, yet they joked around and had fun while working. Personally, I like to see happy workers. The drywalling took a while due to drying times, but it was done very smoothly and you can't see any seams where they were made. That was something very important to us, so it was worth the wait. We had structural issue we encountered after demo, and Hugo's team was able to resolve it very quickly. The extra cost for materials and labor due to the issue was very reasonable. He told me if we have any problems at all with quality of work to let him know and he will fix it. Hugo was very cooperative with the HVAC contractor and framed and drywalled around their work. He was also great working with the Engineer's specs. I would highly recommend Hugo to anyone and I will definitely use him in the future if we have a project I cannot handle myself. The only thing I can't comment on specifically is the quality of finish work like trim, painting, or flooring, because I did them myself. However, I am certain Hugo would make sure you were very happy with it if you had any problems.
Description of Work: We were combining two living rooms (main and formal) into one. This involved removing two walls, one which was load-bearing. I came to Hugo with drawings from an engineer. He and his team performed the demo, beam installation, and drywalling. A separate company performed the HVAC work. I performed the finish work (trim, painting, flooring).
