Description of Work: Peter Mayforth was punctual, courteous and professional. He did a great job of tuning our (rather decrepit) upright piano and returning it to acceptable playing condition. We were delighted with his service, and will definitely call on him again in the future.

 + -1 moreHe tuned my old baby grand, including some wires that were slipping. He explained everything. This old piano is not easy to tune, and he did a great job.

 + -1 moreMy piano hasn't been tuned for probably about 10 years, so it was in pretty bad shape. Peter actually had to go through the tuning process twice because of how bad it was. He also had to raise the pitch and lubricate 6 or 7 keys that were sticking. He worked on it for close to an hour. I thought the price was really fair considering the condition the piano was in and how much work he had to do. The first tuning was $90, the second was $45, and then the keys were $15. Also, he was able to come out at my convenience, and he arrived well within the time frame we agreed on. I highly recommend him!
Description of Work: He tuned my extremely out-of-tune piano, which required doing the tuning twice, raised the pitch, and lubricated several keys that were sticking

 + -1 morePeter Mayforth has tuned our piano for several years. When he first came, it had been years since it had been tuned...he was prompt and professional. The piano sounded great after his expert tuning. He is kind enough to call us annually to ask whether we want to have a and quot;tune upand quot;. I appreciate the reminder.
