Work was done by Tyler M. He was professional, efficient, & didn't try to sell me unneeded work.

Everything was fine. Serviceman showed up on time and completed the work promptly and neatly.

I didn’t have a plumber in ‘my book’ before this experience, but I do now. Delaware Plumbing Professionals are, well, professional, courteous, and, care about their customers. I contacted them on a Thursday evening, after 6 p.m., after finding out that day, that my service line in the front lawn was leaking, and needed to be repaired or replaced ASAP. I was a little frantic as my knowledge of plumbing is zero. Tyler Miller arrived at my home the following afternoon, he was professional and polite, he listened to me describe the issue the best I could, examined my lawn and basement, and sat down with me for over an hour, to discuss the options available to me, the pros and cons of each one, and the pricing. I signed a contract that afternoon, but then thought later, that I should have received a couple of other estimates before ‘jumping into’ a contract. I needn’t have worried, when I called and talked to Tyler to ‘cancel’, he was disappointed but understood my reason. He said if I had any questions about what the other plumbers told me to call him and he would help to explain what they had told me. A couple of days later I had my estimates, a couple of questions, and pretty much a certainty that I wanted Delaware Plumbing Professionals to do the job for me. They still had me on their calendar for the day we had agreed on originally! Tyler and his team showed up just after 8:00 on a Monday morning, and shortly after 11:00 am., I had running water again. I work from home, and was able to go about doing my job, while they did theirs. They treated the inside and outside of my home as if their own, in the basement, Tyler had replaced the concrete surrounding the pipe, and outside, only a small patch of blacktop out front that ‘had’ to be removed to replace the pipe, revealed they had ever been there. Great job guys!

The crew showed up on time and completed installing copper pipe from the street to the house in approximately 3 hours. They cleaned up well and left the property in good order. Delaware Plumbing Professionals uses fixed pricing rather than an hourly rate. I was comfortable with that because it gave me certainty, but I did not get another quote because the break occurred in the evening and it was hard to get a plumber to respond quickly. That confession aside, considering the equipment and the number of people involved, I was not uncomfortable with the price I paid.

Needed to have the "cartridge" replaced in the faucet inside the wall. I tried to do myself but just made things worse. Tyler Miller came out, explained the process, potential problems that could pop up once work started, then told me price. Always good to work with. Took about 10 minutes. All good to go again.

Prompt response to our e mail (via a phone call back on a Sunday)! Next day Monday appointment was on time, very professional (James) and very transparent about the costs. Just before installation of the valve assembly in the tank, we discovered that the tank had a hairline crack. James explained that this posed a risk later of leakage. We discussed installing a new Kohler toilet and the costs (on special) and we agreed to proceed with a new toilet This was installed on Wednesday to our exact specifications - comfort height with soft close toilet seat cover. The price as exactly as agreed. This plumber experience was unlike any other we recently experienced. This groups is most highly recommended and we will use them again in the future if needed. They charge by the service provided not by the hour needed to accomplish.

Wonderful service, very professional. Tyler ordered a smaller tank which arrived within an hour directly to the house. Would use them again. We also talked over the tankless options.

Great job! An external pipe/faucet ruptured over the winter. I gave them a call, they came out the next day, gave a reasonable estimate and fixed it within the hour. Even replaced the faucet (for no extra charge) when I told them it had drip. Very professional and courteous. Will definitely use again! I wish all experiences went this way.

James the technician came out exactly on time. Our water heater was acting up and he confirmed it was 18 years old and we figured we be replacing it. We had some questions after the fact and owner was responsive and helpful. Specifically we wanted an 80 gallon one and we went down to a 50 gallon because the newest 80 gallon ones come with a heat pump and have proven to be expensive and problematic, with manufacturer not honoring warranty or a shortage of pros who are not equipped to deal with issues that arise. Owner suggested adding a mixing valve which increases capacity and so far our needs have been met. We are considering installing a 2nd unit bit opted to wait to see if it's even necessary. Price was reasonable and no issues so far.

Jon from Delaware plumbing professionals had come out to give us a quote on a new water heater. Their quote came in under 2 other quotes I had received and he was able to replace our unit right then and there. He was quite professional worked cleanly. I would definitely reach out to them again for work to be done.

Delaware Plumbing Professionals did a great job in replacing a 15 year old electric water heater. They installed a new tank, removed the old one, and put in an expansion tank for $1195. I also asked them to put in a automatic shut off valve by flood guard and asked them to put in a catch pan under the hot water tank. Everything is nice and tidy, Jeff did a great job. He was on time this morning and was done just before 11:00. Call center and dispatch were very helpful to get everything scheduled. Upfront pricing helped to make the detmination as it is a fair price for a high quality Bradford White water heater.

Delaware Plumbing Professionals was very responsive to our need for fast service, our technician arrived before 9:00 AM less than 24 hours after we called to schedule. Tyler Miller assessed our need and began work immediately. He and his assistant were very respectful of our property, taking all necessary steps to insure my floors were covered, cleaned up after finished. Tyler then explained my new system, warranty and what to expect (water temp & how to adjust) I highly recommend this company and technician, he was friendly, thoughtful & professional !

Tyler was a fine example of the way trade professionals *should* operate. He detailed each step of the process in advance, explained the fee structure (including the possible options and additional charges), performed the work while pointing out the reasons behind each task, and provided us with a solution that will allow us to fix the problem ourselves at very little cost. In other words, it went very well.

Corrected and provided septic use insight and assistance to extend use of septic system. Very informative and willing to provide their expertise on being in a septic system house for the first time.

They did neither one and charged me $545

All good. Availability same day that I called. Tech called when on the way, evaluated the problem, explained fee structure, cleared the problem quickly and cleanly. Tech was not phased by old galvanized pipes. Service call fee $35 reasonable, but not waived with service approval, ends up seeming expensive.

Initial contact with the office was great. Received a call from Tyler telling me exactly when he would arrive. Tyler diagnosed the problem, told me what he would need to do, then went through his book giving me the exact cost for each step. There was no pressure. I had Tyler go ahead and do the work. The price was a little more than I planned to spend, but was fair. Couldn’t be happier.

Tyler was so efficient, professional, helpful, and pleasant. What we had feared would prove to be a struggle was addressed quickly, a diagnosis was proposed, we scooted out and bought the relevant part, and Tyler was back in a jiffy to install and test it. It's been an hour since he left, and we're still smiling. Thanks for a great job.

During a recent cold snap on a Saturday I was running into issues with a pipe freezing, and while trying to resolve the issue I discovered that the screw for the access panel had been screwed right into the shower cold water line! I spoke with one plumber who didn't seem too happy that I was calling him and asked if he would be able to come out. He informed me that he had a bunch of other calls and he wasn't sure when or if he would be able to make it. No rough approximation on time, nothing. I knew with the weather it might be hard to find a plumber, so I asked him to add me to the list and I started making more calls. I called Delaware Plumbing Professionals, and I got a call back from a wonderful person in their office who was more than happy to take my call. She informed me there was a plumber out working about 10 minutes from my house, and once he was done with his job in about an hour or two he would come right over. She was clear to inform me that there would be an extra $65 charge because it was weekend, which I totally understood. I absolutely appreciated the upfront notification of the cost. When the plumber showed up, he was also polite and courteous. I showed him the issue, and we then sat down to go over the pricing. Delaware Plumbing works off a fixed price list, so he found the service, got the price, and told me exactly how much it would cost. Just like most services (electricians, plumbers, etc.) it always is more expensive than you think, but knowing upfront the cost with no hassles made the whole situation easy to handle. The work was completed shortly thereafter and it was done well, looked great, and the issue was resolved. Overall they get an A from me. I do want to make one note about price since everyone is doing DIY nowadays. In the end, I paid $350 for about 30 actual minutes of work. That is not an insignificant amount of money, and most people balk and wonder how a tradesperson can get away charging what amounts to $700/hour. A few things on that. First, there is a shortage of workers in many trades right now, so basic economics means prices will go up, not down.. Additionally, you have to take into account everything else that goes into the service - the truck, tools, training, back office support and so on. Additionally, while he spent 30 minutes at my house and only had a 10 minute drive, his next job could be 30-45 minutes away, which eats into time working on a call. Could I go out and buy pro press fittings and the tools to do the work myself? Absolutely. But in the end I'll wind up spending $1500 for tools and supplies to fix a problem that I've run into a grand total of twice in my life. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad tradespeople out there which can make finding a good professional difficult. However, Delaware Plumbing is definitely not in that category. The staff is courteous and professional, got the work done when I needed it, and I have a 1 year warranty on the work to boot. I'm happy to give them my hard earned money for a job well done.
