MAN-MAID CLEANING, INC

We used Man Maid for several years based upon a reference from our realtor/friend. I always liked our crew and came to be fond of them over the years. The cleanings were good, not great but passable- there is no such thing as a great cleaning company at the beach resorts. The crew was pleasant and quirky and we developed a comfortable relationship. So, I stuck with Man Maid despite the lack of communication and professionalism from the main office. I never spoke to or met the owner; although I would email and text him repeatedly about scheduling, the only response I every received was something like and quot;I'll look into itand quot; with no follow up. It was always our crew leader who finally responded with scheduling information. She would pester the owner for me to get bills sent, extra cleanings scheduled, and off-season services addressed. For all intents and purposes, she was my tether to the company and I liked her. When the relationship between our crew leader and the business owner deteriorated, and accusations began to fly back-and-forth about illicit and illegal behavior by both parties, it all became very uncomfortable, and we promptly got out of the business relationship. After our final cleaning my crew leader and I hugged and said goodby and I have not seen her since, I hope she is doing well. Then, for the first time in 3 years, the owner started texting, calling and emailing me, usually in the middle of the night, it was all very odd. It seemed somewhat manic on his part, highly unprofessional, and he made me terribly uncomfortable. I hesitate to write this review because I fear he will retaliate or start stalking me again, but then again Angie's List has been good to us, so I feel compelled to report this.

Everything has been going great.

As I was under a tight timeline to clean my rental property, I called Man-Maid and left a message. The owner returned my call within a short period of time and scheduled the cleaning appointment. Both he and a cleaning assistant arrived both days on time and provided extensive cleaning of the entire house: living room, dining room, TV room, kitchen, 3 bed rooms and 2 bath rooms. I was very happy with the results and would use Man-Maid services again.

How can this company have such great reviews when they do not respond? I left three voicemails and never had a return phone call. I spoke clearly and repeated my phone number. Not responding is unprofessional and should not deserve an A rating. There are plenty of other cleaning services - skip this one.

They did a very good job and were always on time and on schedule. No complaints whatsoever.
We've recommended them several times and would continue to recommend them.
The only reason we're not using them now is that we're leaving town....it'll be hard to find such a conscientious and through service.

Man Maid does an awesome job, even cleans the things you may not have asked for but are glad they noticed! their work is very professionally done
