Didn't even take pics of all the issues! Just terrible. My neighbor's deck was built 17 years ago, yet all of her boards are still flat and even...and none fell off!

This was the worse experience ever...Let's begin with how he increased the price by $950 right before work was set to begin...due to some "new building code" that required a steel beam that he supposedly had no knowledge of. After that, the work was complete and it looked nice, but a year later, the boards began to warp and bend, the nails are bending inward, and one of the railings came completely off. I contacted the owner, whom I dealt with multiple times prior to signing the contract...he never returned my phone calls, then he finally responded to a text and asked me to forward pictures. He also stated that if it was from normal wear and tear (which would be utterly ridiculous for a new deck) he would have it fixed. I promptly responded to his request, but never heard from him again after that. I've been calling and texting and he has yet to respond although I communicated with him that I have a small child at my home and the deck is unsafe because of the missing railing. Take a look at the pics...they never even removed the tags from the wood! Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!
