Theirs way too many details but the bottom line is that Dealing with Comcast cable is an unbelievable experience. The incompetenceand the dont care attitude goes from the people that answer the calls, the service techs, all the way up to the coorperate office. I still cant believe what they put me through. i dont have the energy to go into detatl but the only reason they get away with such horrible customer service is they are a manopoly which is illegal in the US I cannot get Verizon in my area so I have no choice but to put up with there abuse.

Horrible experience! First they scheduled the appt. for the immediate Sat. and when they didn't show for the appointed time I called and got a recording saying my appt. was not until the following Sat. Fine with me at the time since I still had my phone. Came and installed the box. Less then a week later I lost my phone and internet. Called and was told there was an issue with the line outside my house (they always say this and it's NEVER true). Said I needed it the next day. Confirmed they could send someone out the next day at 9 a.m. Waited and no one came. Called and was told they wouldn't be out til the following day. Asked to speak to a supervisor and none was available but was told they would call me back in 30 min. Seven hours later I finally got a call back and they could not send anyone out until the next day. I was without phone and internet for 3 days. In the 21 years I lived in my house I was NEVER without phone service. First week I have Comcast I was without service for 3 days. I escalated to their Executive Office. Tech came out and replaced the brand new box they just put in. Also had to replace another cable box they put in the week before in one of my bedrooms. That had stopped working as well. Finally got all service working and a guy from their Executive Office called and apologize and gave me credits and 6 mth free Cinemax which really didn't pay for my inconvience. 2 weeks go by and last week the cable went out again. Husband called and they ran a test to ping my modem. Said modem was offline and probably something wrong with the line outside. Again.. used the line outside. the tech was just there and said there was nothing wrong with our line outside. Ten minutes later, the internet came back up. This week, box goes down again and again without a phone for the day. Did not know my phone was not working until my niece who was supposed to call at 4, didnt' call and it was 6:00 before we realized our phone was dead and internet out. Called Comcast, tried a test to the box, not working said they are not getting service to the box, must be the line outside. After this I asked to speak to a supervisor right then. Waited 5 min. and the rep. hung up on me. Called them back and issued a complaint and cancelled a tech because I unplugged it again and plugged it back in and miracously it works. I'm calling the Executive Office on Monday and going back to Verizon! I never want to be without a phone again! yes I have a cell phone but you have to charge your phone etc. This is the WORST customer service and service I have ever gotten. And this is only half of what I went through. there was a lot more but too much too type.
Description of Work: Comcast called to see me their "bundle" with phone service. Since I was getting it cheaper, I decided to switch from Verizon to Comcast for my phone. Came to the house and installed a new box with telephone service along with my internet.
