Gary came out and identified a potentially missing ground on my house. Since the house was under warranty I opted to have the builder rectify that situation. However, Gary did give me great advice and gave me the info to rectify it. He recommended a whole house surge protector, something I was thinking about anyway. I went ahead and had him install it. He did the work quick and I never had any issue at all.
Gary also followed up with me every few months to see if he could help me with any other issues. Its nice to have that kind of service.

I saw a big deal in Angie's List worth $99 for two hours and thought that it was a pretty good deal as I wanted a light outside that was not working to be fixed. I thought that it was going to take two hours for that very small job, so I purchased the big deal. When they came they told that I wanted something else also and I would cost more. Meanwhile I also checked with other flat lights and they gave me a quote that I felt that it was so high. I happened to replace the light at the door. There were two guys and one of them was in charge of the job and the other guy was nice. The in charge guy's attitude was very bad and I don't know whether it was because I don't speak English very well. He told me that they couldn't wait for the parts for too long and so I had to run to Home Depot to get it. I was under so much pressure because I thought there was two hours and I had plenty of time but he didn't tell me that there would be two people here and there was only one hour. Anyways I went to the Home Depot and quickly got the things that I needed and I didn't have time to chose and had to just grab one. He installed it and then he told there was extra charge for that. So I felt that his attitude was not good. If you explain it very nicely and politely and the price was reasonable I would be fine but he was just having attitude. It wasn't a good experience. The other guy was nice as I just felt like he felt bad for me as he couldn't tell anything as he worked for him. He also gave me estimate for another job but I had an impression that it was just too high.

I had called 3 different electricians over the past year to replace lights in bookcase. All 3 said they would research type of fixture needed and get back to me. Not one ever returned my calls after that. That is when I joined Angie's List. I called D and D Electric based on their reviews and within a week they had not only found a solution to the problematic bookcase lights but also installed the new lights and baseboard heaters in bathrooms as we'll. After a few months a dimmer switch they installed did not work. They came out the next day, replaced the faulty light switch at no charge.
Very satisfied with turn around time and quality of work done.

He said he couldn't work on this because legally it had to be replaced. I would have needed my whole house rewired. He was right, and this wasn't a project I could move forward with. But he was great to work with.

It was efficent quick and quality work. Passed inspection no problems
