I will definitely call them back to make the repairs. The technician was courteous and I would recommend D&T to others who are looking to have HVAC work completed.

Purchased Big Deal- New Gas Furnace Install from D&T Heating & Cooling, early morning 1/10/14. When I placed the order, I added a with a note -"please contact us asap, as we have no heat". By 9:30, we received a phone call to advise someone would be here at 1 pm to see what was needed. The owner, Doug, showed up as stated at precisely 1 pm. He assessed what was needed to do the job properly and advised he would be here 9 am Monday 1/13/14 to do the install. Showed up just before the scheduled appointment of 9 am and completed everything in a few hours. The job was done professionally & neatly. There were no hidden charges and we are very happy with our purchase and with their work. We would absolutely call upon D&T Heating & Cooling in the future.

This service was for my mother's condo. There was some confusion originally and I was not contacted. However, when I phoned the company they replied quickly and scheduled an an appointment at my convenience. They were very professional

The price was good and I would definitely use them again.

A very polite young man inspected the furnace, finding two small items that needed replacement. I have to assume the parts were needed and that I was charged market rates. I also succumbed to a somewhat 'hard sell' of a maintenance contract, leading to a total bill of $335 (versus the attractive offer of an inspection for $49). I was a bit shocked to part with so much cash. Will use them again, but with my eyes open.

It worked out good. The guy was very good. In fact, I'm going to use him next spring to get a new heater and air-conditioner. He was very nice person, very professional. They came exactly when they said they would. As a matter of fact, I had him a little earlier than normal and I called off and they said, oh, good, I will be even earlier and he was, he was right over there. He did exactly what I was hoping he would do. He went through the whole system, checked everything out, put a new filter in and my heater had no problem and it's running really nice. He vacuumed the inside and cleaned the contact a little bit. I used to go with another contractor, who charged a lot more and I saw that special I knew it was a real good deal. So, I felt like take a chance and I'm glad I did.

Tuned-up my two gas Furnaces. Everything was done according to the provided checklist, except changing the disposable filters.

They said they could do the work for an extra $100, but there is no mention in the deal that oil furnaces would cost more money to service.

Joe arrived on time and was cordial. He checked my furnace stated I would need a new thermocouple, he was not sure if it would last the heating season. I decided to replace the old one because I did not want to take the chance of the heat going off during the winter. I also decided to take a yearly contract. After replacing the thermocouple he wrote the info on his order sheet. When he gave me the sheet to sign I realized he had not indicated that I would need one in his original assessment. This made me a little uncomfortable but I thought I would give this company a try. Perhaps it was an over-sight. My B rating is because I feel the need for a thermocouple should have been indicated in the initial assessment.

Ryan felt with caution that the repairs are not urgent at this time but eventually may have to be performed. His repair estimate was more reasonable than my first estimate. If and when I get the repairs completed I will probably contract D&T HVAC.

Ryan came when he said he would. He was polite and friendly and did the job the came to do. He was pleasant in answering my questions and gave me an estimate for further work I inquired about. I was quite pleased with the service.

They provided a bandaid to the A/C a few times within 1 year (filling it up with refrigerant); however, never pointed out or fixed the real problem. A leak in the A/C system. I had to hire a different company to fix it right.

I required service on a Sunday and got a hold of Doug at D&T quickly - I called the office and he immediately called me back. We discussed the issue quickly over the phone and he indicated he thought it was a simple fix and that he would be there in about 1.5 to 2 hours. He showed up when he said he would and quickly fixed the problem - it was a contact that had welded itself closed from an insect shorting it out. I asked Doug about replacement units and different options and he spent an hour or more reviewing the different things he could do. He was very good at being clear on pricing and what would pay for itself and what wouldn't (that is, some things would make the house more comfortable, but wouldn't cover the extra cost to install even though the SEER rating was higher). I was very comfortable with Doug (who is the owner of the business) and would highly recommend him. I plan on having him replace our unit later this fall......when it's cooler.

I had a bedroom that was not cooling well. I noticed that there was very little air flow from the floor vent. I placed a service order with my home warranty company, American Home Shield, and they arranged for D&T to come and service. In the on-line service request, I clearly stated that this was an air duct/air flow issue. When the two D&T techs arrived, they agreed little air was coming out of the vent, and went to the basement to check things out. They couldn't find the bedroom's supply duct! I asked them if they had a snake or something that they could run down the duct and find its source in the basement, as I had clearly said this was an air duct issue. They said they don't have equipment like that to check air duct locations. They explained that, based upon how my house was constructed, the duct was probably a riser in an interior wall, and that they would not be able to locate it. I couldn't believe that they had no equipment with them to trace an air duct; I'd had ducts cleaned before and even duct cleaning companies have this equipment. Their service was unacceptable, nothing was fixed, and I refused to pay the $75 fee, and noted the reason on the statement. I immediately called AHS and explained the situation to them. They said that they needed to wait for D&T to submit their invoice and if necessary, they would contact me to discuss. After the phone call, I considered what the techs said about an interior wall riser and went to the basement myself to look. I figured about where the riser duct should be, looked up, and behold, there it was! I could easily see the duct, and could also easily see that it was pulled apart from the main air supply chamber. I called D&T and the receptionist wouldn't even let me explain what I had found; she just cut me off and said that the issue was unfixable. I insisted on talking with one of the owners and he insisted that I take pictures of the duct and send to him before he would believe me. I did, and he agreed that the problem with the duct was clear. I would have fixed the problem myself but I have a bad back and couldn't get to the duct location. The owner apologized, sent out another tech the next day, I pointed him to the problem duct, he fixed it, and said there would be no charge. Today, I called AHS for a refrigerator problem and found that D&T had blocked my service contract because I had refused to pay the initial service fee for their doing nothing. (this is the first time I have ever not paid a service fee under my AHS contract). AHS never contacted me to discuss the fee; they simply extorted it out of me when I tried to use the contract that I had already paid them for. Even though D&T appologized, they wasted another day of my time because of their incompetence, and submtted the orginal bill for the non-service to AHS. AHS then froze my contract until they extorted the $75 from me.

From my first contact with the office, to the service call itself, dealing with D&T Heating was a very positive experience. The office arranged to call me 45 minutes before the service technician would arrive so I could leave work and get to my house in time, and he was there waiting for me when I arrived home. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, then took the time to check the system both inside the basement and the unit outside. Overall, I felt they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will definitely use D&T Heating and Cooling again if I have any issues with my AC/Heating in the future.

Everything went extremely well. An appointment was made for a date about a week away from my phone call. Unfortunately, it was bad weather that day and we had to reschedule. The company was able to reschedule for the next day. Service man was prompt and neat, and offered explanations of anything I asked about. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for this service. Their regular price would have been $99 (not the cheapest, but certainly a fair price), but a Groupon brought it to $35.

Very professional. The owner installed the new system and installed condensate pump. The job took about 6 hours to complete. Laid out protection on my floors so they didnt mess up hardwood floors. Very clean install. Very good price.

I would recommend him. He repaired some extra wires for me at no extra cost. He took his time. He had a high level of expertise. He was very honest.

Excellent service. Very professional. Go above and beyond. Very reliable and knowledgeable.

First impressions are important. Doug was prompt, professional, courteous and informational. He inspected our system completely and used a variety of test equipment to evaluate the problem. His challenge was that since our system was turned off for the week we were away, there was no water leakage that could be seen while he was onsite. After about 30 minutes, he concluded that the system was working properly, and he assumed that the water leak may have been due to a combination of issues. I was impressed that he didn't try to 'find' a problem, and bill us for things that were unnecessary. He asked us to monitor the system, and call him immediately if we noticed any water so he could return and inspect further. Doug was helpful with any questions I asked, told me to call him if any little water leak developed so he could rush back to check it out, and there was only a small service charge for his visit. Based on what I felt was his integrity and professionalism, I will use D&T again and be happy to reference them to my friends and neighbors who need an HVAC company.

I received a phone call from the business letting me know the technician was on his way to my home. When he arrived, the technician wore shoe covers when he entered my home which made me feel that he cared about my home. I have used this company for years and would highly recommend them.

I CALLED TO HAVE OUR AIR CONDTIONER CHECKED. THEY SENT SOMEONE THE VERY NEXT DAY. EVERY OTHER REPAIR SHOP WAS BUSY. THEY WILL CHECK THE SYSTEM AGAIN IN MAY '05 FOR FREE.
