Alex was excellent. He came out to give me an estimate the day after I called. Because it was a small job, he was able to get his crew out that day! So far, I couldn't be happier.

Alex was prompt and fit us in on a tight schedule. Work looks excellent, but our attic is covered in debris and wood splinters. No attic cleanup. Also, pieces of the old roof paper scattered through our landscaping. Cleanup was nowhere near as good as the roof job. Overall good

It was okay. But I didn't think they looked as professional as another company I had come out. One worker came out, it took him about two hours to complete the estimate. They also requested that when we signed the contract that we pay 40% up front. We did not end up using them. The owner of the company however, did follow up a few times after the estimate.

Alex promptly returned my call and came to the house within a few days of the initial call. He went up on the roof, looked at what needed to be done and then left. It took several days to get the estimate. His estimate was the hightest estimate that we were provided and for the least quality product. In addition, we did not see Alex actually measure the roof as all of the other estimators had done. While I believe that Alex may do a good job, his estimate and product selection was not the right choice for our roof project.

Told me the roof is about two years old. It needs no repairs Is in perfect condition. Nothing is missing. Pipes are in perfect condition.

It looks really nice. They were nice guys. They were fast. They cleaned up their mess when they were done. I like them so I had them come back out again.

I could have gotten that for free

I had two other estimates for the same kind of roof with the same manufacturer's warranty and his price was about $2,000 less than the best price. I was sort of under the gun for when I wanted the work completed because of the winter and he was able to schedule it very quickly. He basically put his men on it working a 15 hour day to get it done within one day. It was really nice. They started about 6 am in the morning.

I reviewed Angies List for a company to paint my home. I contacted A. Parker when I saw he had a Big Deal advertised for an exterior house painting job. He responded immediately to a request for an estimate and gave me all details of all work that would be done. When I decided to use the company; we set up a date to do so and it was completed during the time period. It was a very rainy time during this past May but his two employees put a lot of time and work into the job to get it done between the rain drops. They showed up right on time and worked steadily through the days it took with the rain delays. House looks great! I will definetely contact Alex again with any future work I need. He has a full service contracting company. He was super pleasant to deal with and very sincere about coming back if there was anything I found later that I wasn't happy with about the paint job.

We set up a time for an estimate. Great response time throughout, which is a plus for me! Arrived early for the appointment as he knew I had a later commitment. Turns out my problem was not the siding issue that I thought. Rather than taking my money for a fake search, he gave me honest advice of how to address it. Honest. Will call in the future.

Initially did a roof repair less than 24 hours after call. It earned them my roof replacement work.

We were looking for estimates for a new roof. He was prompt to reply and arrive to submit his estimate. His estimate was the cheapest price of three that we received, but he wasn't providing the amount of upgrades as the other two.

We decided to replace our original roof after 16 years, several small leaks and the shingles were constantly flying off. The builder's selection of material (the cheapest possible, of course) and the poor installation job led us to this decision at least 5 years before we should have even been thinking about a roof. I contacted several local roofers and chose Alex Parker. No long winded, hard sell tactics at all. He came out, measured, explained the job he would do and that he was a GAF-certified roof contractor. He was gone in 20 minutes andI I had his bid. No, "this is the price IF you sign right now" nonsense. We chose Alex because of his no bullcrap approach and his GAF certification. He showed up when he said he would and his crew was outstanding! Two days and they were done and the roof looks amazing! The crew was hard working, no loud music and cussing, they were very professional and did a great job cleaning up my property when the installation was complete.

These guys did a great job for a really good price. I had FJ Fitzpatrick come out at the same time for an estimate and and chose AJ Parker over them. Very professional, prompt, and understanding, especially since this house is occupied by a tenant who was rude and uncooperative, but they kept their cool and did the best they could. I would definitely use their services again.

Promised two coats or prime and one coat on outside of house. Porch ceiling fixed , clean peeling paint and make uniform finish. Did not perform work as stated.Poor quality of work that was performed. Bad experience all around. Update: Changed quality grade to F. Will need to have house painted again because of wear after only 3 years. More than one coat of paint? BS

It went wonderfully! The guys were pleasant, prompt, very professional, extremely good at their craft and took pride in the finished product. They were considerate of my neighbors as I live in a townhouse and they wanted to make sure my neighbors would be OK with their tools and siding extending onto their property. When the job was finished they did a great job of cleaning up the scraps of siding and other materials that were the result of the job. My yard looked as good when they left as it did before they started. My house looks great!

Because my house was built in 1993, when code was pretty much 20 year roofs, I decided to have mine checked out and have whatever was necessary done to keep the home in good shape far into the future. I called A Parker on 4/1 in the morning because of his proximity to my home and the good reviews he had here. He came by the same afternoon to provide an inspection and estimate. Because my roof had not yet shown any problems - no leaks or missing shingles - he offered two choices: Nail over the existing roof with new "lifetime" shingles, or tear off the existing roof and replace the underlayment, etc and replace with the same lifetime shingles. Because the existing roof had no issues, we chose to do the simple nail-over, with replacement of vents and flashings, etc. His crew showed up two days later, and completed the job in two days. I don't know how they managed to complete it so quietly, I was home the whole time and there was very little disruption due to noise or hammering. They did a very neat installation, and cleaned up completely after themselves. Alex was great to work with - forthcoming about choices and options. Crew was prompt and efficient. I am very happy with the experience and the price. I would recommend Alex to all in need of similar repairs or service.

I was extremely happy with A. Parker Contracting. A family business, reliable, friendly, professional, punctual, very good customer service, honest, no pushy sales practices. I got an appointment immediately and felt very comfortable during the sales process. Their price was very, very good (despite the fact that our roof had one more layer to take off than is customary). In addition to that, they were very generous and offered us an additional discount. When I placed an emergency call a few days later, because water was dripping through my ceiling, they called back within the hour and gave us the very first appointment possible (right between two snow storms). They were punctual, friendly, reliable, efficient and hard-working. By late afternoon, the roof was done. The clean-up was very thorough and careful. The dumpster was picked up the next day, everything worked smoothly like clockwork. Right before the next snow storm that same night, we had a new roof over our heads. I had a small issue a week later. They returned my call immediately and came out promptly that same day to check on it. All part of their warranty. Great company, very good service, very honest price, highly recommend.

Contractor was out to give a quote when he said. His quote was very competitive with others. We used him because of the reviews he received on Angie's List. The contractor had to reschedule due to weather delays on other jobs a couple times, but let us know well ahead of time. We had to reschedule because of personal issues and he worked around that without issue. When he arrived, his workers were diligent, quick, and professional. The area was cleaned up nicely when the job was completed. We've received several compliments on the roof from our neighbors.

They were able to complete the job in 2 days. We did end up with a leak over Thanksgiving, but they came out within 24 hrs and fixed it. Very friendly, professional, and took good care of the mature trees and bushes that surround the house.

Alex did a great job presenting the process of installing a new roof, and the estimate was lower than what I was expecting. The guys did a fantastic job working in the freezing winter temperatures on our roof and did a very thorough clean up job. We were very happy with A. Parker Contracting and would use them again, and recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors!

I noticed on Saturday that part of my ridge vent was no longer attached to the roof allowing water to enter my attic. I called A Parker first thing on Monday morning and the owner came to my house to evaluate the situation within a few hours. He noticed some other issues with my roof - including part of my gutter that had become separated from the house. While he could not make the repair that day, he came that night to tarp my roof as it was supposed to rain that night and the next day. I was shocked to see that he came at dusk and climbed on my very steep 2 story roof to tarp the roof. He kept his word that he would keep my house dry and free from any additional damage. The first dry day, he (and possibly his crew - I wasn't home) came and made all necessary repairs. I was a bit nervous about choosing a contractor based only on reviews without getting other bids. I was not disappointed and would absolutely consider hiring A Parker when the roof needs to be replaced sometime next year. He was honest, hard working and did a good job fixing my roof - many thanks!!!

It seemed that he had some personal problems that delayed his visit twice. Along with the weather, this delayed the repair by 3 weeks. He was very personable, perhaps too much so. I liked him and am sure he did great work. I do not think he should have mentioned his political views; I did not ask for them. I thought his estimates for further roof work were a little high. I felt he did excellent work. I would use him again for roof repairs but would seek to negotiate with him for a lower price for the chimney work or complete roof installation.

I received an email about A. Parker's roofing special ($99 for roofing repairs) via email and my mother purchased it for me as a Christmas gift. I hadn't scheduled it when we paid for it, but Mr. Parker reached out to me about the work within a day of our purchase...very prompt! I had some degradation of the seal around the pipe on my roof and it was causing some water to leak into my home. A. Parker sealed the pipe, nailed down my loose shingles, and did some other repairs to my roof, They also gave me some information about the current state of my roof overall and how long I had before I should look to get it replaced. Alex Jr. was so nice and knowledgeable, and they were patient in waiting for me to get home from work (they were already at my house...luckily I work close to my home). I would definitely recommend them to others. Also, I have some siding that needs to be replaced and I will definitely call them to do the work. Definitely worth the money and more (you can't beat $99 for roof repairs!)
