Great meeting contractor, but he never followed up or returned followed calls. Basically disappeared.

The owner of Vision Builders LLC is very detail orientated and personable. He has a great team of guys who worked 7 days a week to get the job done. He does not stop until he and the customer is satisfied. He has given many ideas and suggestions. He focused on the concerns and gave me good tips. He gives a sparking touch to his work. He worked with my real estate agent and I am moving into the house in 20 days. He worked so quickly and I got 100% service for the price paid.

Soren never called back. It's too bad b/c we liked him b/c of his commercial building experience, but I guess he is too busy.

After a big storm we had a couple of small plaster blisters on our bedroom ceiling. I had a roof come out and take a look, and he quoted my more than $2,500 for a patch job. That was a little rich for my taste, and I had been referred to Soren Juul by a friend and so I got a second opinion. I was at work the day I spoke to Soren, so he and his roofer went out and looked at the roof on their own. Soren then explained what was wrong with the roof (primarily that it was just REALLY old and brittle) and gave me three options: a small patch ($800), a full replacement ($3750), or a patch with aluminum oxide paint (somewhere in between). He explained the pros and cons of each option, including various warranties. We went with the full replacement. Soren came to the house with his roofer and walked me through what they'd be doing. The whole removal and replacement process took only a day and a half or so, and at a much lower cost than I'd been quoted elsewhere. All in all, a very positive experience. On two occasions I had to call Soren more than once to get him on the phone, but that was the only hickup in the process and he was very friendly and informative the whole time.
