The packing day went fine except that at the end of the day the supervisor tried to raise the fee from that which was quoted.  The packers worked very fast.  I trusted them to do a good job because they seemed professional and having moved many, many times with the military, I made the incorrect assumption that one packing company would be very much like another in terms of quality of the work.  When I got back from Texas last month (March 2014) and got everything out of storage and began unpacking boxes I was shocked by the poor quality of the job.  I waited to write this review until every last box was unpacked. 
Instead of using wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes, several had wall hangings and large pictures shoved inside with no paper wrapped around them to protect edges and glass.  Shoved in with the pictures and wall hangings were random heavy items such as a fireplace screen and yard care items.  About half the clothes on hangers (that should have been in the wardrobe boxes) were just stuffed inside smaller boxes, all balled up together, hangers and all.  Wall hangings that WERE packed in glass pack boxes had no paper to cushion them and some were taped together such that when the tape was pulled off, so was the finish on the frames. 
An antique lamp was packed with heavy books on top of it. Astonishingly, this lamp was not broken.  Antique books were not wrapped in paper - just stuffed willy-nilly in boxes such that several bindings were damaged.  Some books weren't even stacked in the boxes - it really looked like they were just thrown in and some were open!  One box was marked "fragile" but when I opened it, several very heavy "coffee table" books were on top.  Underneath those heavy books was most of my wedding china and, just as one would expect in such a situation, three pieces of wedding china (dinner plate, large serving bowl, glass candle stick) were broken. 
Finally, instead of using book boxes as would be most appropriate, they used large linen boxes to "pack" all the files from the filing cabinet.  As with the books, all hanging files were just thrown in willy-nilly such that some were open with others jammed on top thus folding, wrinkling, and ruining contents; files were not put in the boxes in any orderly fashion at all and most of the hanging file folders had to be replaced after the contents were sorted from folders that had spilled open in the packing process.
I will never, ever use this company again.
