We could not have been more pleased with the service they provided for our intra county house move. My only complaint (if you could call it that) was that the moving crew arrived half an hour early on our move day. Jay and the crew worked quickly, but carefully (even in the rain) and moved all of our belongings without incident. They were friendly and courteous throughout the whole process as well. In addition the estimator and billing/scheduling staff were quick to respond to questions and provided timely updates, making the move as painless as possible (all at a very reasonable price, to boot).
We can't recommend their service enough, and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

It went very well. They were very efficient and nice. They had to unload and move our furniture and boxes in our 3 story townhouse.

Worst move ever - driver lied, promises broken, Sales rep offered some compensation for the hassles, but never contacted me after the move, some pieces missing, pieces and parts packed in different boxes, inventory not detailed or complete.

Very disappointed - after great first impression with their sales rep, everything else was downhill.  They may have moved the Obama's but they certainly didn't provide me with the same level of service.

I wish I would have gone with Bayshore

Everything went very well. The estimator who came was very professional and thorough, and saved us a lot of money by showing us that the amount of stuff going into storage would not fit in the POD we had been planning to use. (We would have had to have used many PODS which would have been very expensive for storage.) We decided to have their guys pack up our stuff in their crates and store them in their warehouse. He also gave me a great price -- $125 for a team of guys per hour. The moves themselves went great. The movers were friendly, strong, and VERY hard-working and efficient with time and packing space. They took great care of our things.

On our outgoing move, they were great. A fast and efficient crew packed up everything very carefully on a rainy day and sent everything off in a day. Nothing was broken on the other end, though we lost a couple of small items that were probably still in with packing materials. I blame that on the crew that was hired in-country, not Security. Security did a great job organizing and coordinating everything on the return trip, and setting our minds at ease. Our contact here in DC even called us on our pack up date in Europe to make sure everything was going well. Our shipment even made the ocean journey and through customs quicker than expected. However, the move in day was a nightmare. They sent four people, one of which was clearly not on board - at one point the lead guy even had to yell at him to pay better attention. We were very concerned about the floors being scratched as part of our lease, and they managed to scratch up everything. They also bashed a lot of furniture in the stairwells, weren't careful unpacking our dining tables and put big scratches across the top from the box cutters, and they managed to shatter our armoir while trying to put it together - this had to be professionally restored by a restoration company. At one point, when I got on the crew about damage to the house, they said "Oh, the insurance will take care of it." Finally, after they had unloaded the truck and were unpacking and putting furniture together, we discovered that they'd left the front and back doors open, which we asked them not to because we have a cat and dog. At one point we lost the cat for hours, and thought he'd run away. By time I called my local contact, I was in tears from all the damage to the house, the floors, our furniture, almost lost cat. She handed me over to claims and then we proceeded through about 6 months of red tape and back and forth to get things fixed, not really to satisfaction. The whole process was stressful and rushed - we had only a short amount of time to file our claims. They had us file insurance claims for the furniture and then their policy kicked in for the damage to the house. They sent over a good company to repair the floors, but they sent over a total maniac contractor to fix the plaster and the paint. I'm sure it was just a random guy they called from the phone book. He was pushy, kept trying to do more work than necessary, and proceeded to get paint on our rugs, hardwood floors - as soon as we walked away he'd paint around areas that weren't covered with a drop cloth. The clincher was that our original contact, a person who'd held our hands the entire way, never once called to apologize for all that had happened. The customer service really broke down at the first sign of trouble. After our first move, I recommended them with flying colors. Now I think they're just the worst. Stay clear!

THEY MOVED US INTO OUR NEW HOUSE, THEY CAME IN AT THE PRICE THAT WE AGREED UPON, EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK THEM SIX OR SO MORE HOURS TO COMPLETE. AN ITEM WAS BROKEN HOWEVER IT WAS FIXED.
