Maxalto Joins Boffi in Georgetown Showroom Maxalto, part of the B&B Italia family of contemporary Italian designs, is excited to announce their new partnership with Boffi, joining their showroom in the heart of Georgetown, Washington DC located at 3320 M Street NW in Cadey’s Alley. Alongside Boffi’s offerings of exceptional and streamlined kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe systems, Maxalto will bring their comprehensive line of interior furnishings by renowned designer Antonio Citterio. This collaboration is the first of its kind between the two Italian design firms in the Washington, DC area, following in the footsteps of the successful alliance between the two companies in Chicago. Boffi Georgetown first opened in August 2010 as part of a 23-shop monobrand network worldwide, designed by internationally acclaimed architect Piero Lissoni. Boffi’s products are created by an evolving group of renowned designers and based on a distinctive company history and philosophy. The principle is to harmonize functionality with a highly modern design approach. The end products are aesthetically minimal while offering outstanding designs and state-of-the-art elements. Maxalto, designed and coordinated entirely by Antonio Citterio, was established in 1975. The Maxalto collection is characterized by the skilled craftsmanship in wood processing and draws inspiration from the typologies and styles of French design that emerged between the two World Wars. Specific collections that customers can look forward to viewing in the showroom include the Apta, Simplice, and AC collections that feature popular products such as the Febo, Omnia and Lutetia sofas, the Talamo bed, Pathos table, Biblia shelving system and more. As always the products reflect Maxalto’s spirit of classical mixed with contemporary flair, captured in the many details, finishes, and fabrics that make up the collection.
