I can't say enough good things about John Lee and the station. They have always been fair, hard working, and cordial. The work is done quickly, and everything is handled in a very upfront manner.

Their price needs to be a little lower.

The price was between $80 - $100.

I've been going to Tony Lee's for about 15 years now. They have consistently done good work on the five different makes and models of cars we have owned in that time. If you are looking for a good auto mechanic in DC Lee's Auto Service is the place to go.

We always get an outstanding experience. They have outstanding service. I never have any issues with Lee's. I'd give them A+.

As always, Lee's Auto Service performed excellent work. I have taken my car here for more than six years, and this is the first time (along with work performed the prior week) major repairs had to be done on my 14-year-old Honda Civic. Tony and Julio have never tried to upsell me anything. My car runs well and handles smoothly. I will never take it anywhere else as long as I live in DC.

They checked but did not find anything so they did not charged me. They do a good job and they don't try to hose you.

I have used Tony Lee for over 30 years for auto repair - major jobs as well as basic oil changes. He is the only auto mechanic I've ever known who has declined to repair something because it didn't need to be done at that point. He will periodically tell me I've got another and quot;xand quot; number of months before I need to replace/repair whatever I am concerned about. He (or his staff) clearly explain what the problem is and what my options are, what the costs will be, etc. He is always on time with repairs. Once his employee messed up on a repair, requiring me to replace my radiator out of state. He readily took responsibility, apologized, and fully refunded the repairs. In 30+ years, that is the only time I've ever had a problem.

Routine oil change

We've used Lee's many times and are generally very happy. They have made a few mistakes and are hesitant to admit that they made a mistake even when it is obvious.

They are very informative when looking the car over. They are thorough and accurate in doing an analysis. I think it is convenient to take my car there because I can leave it, hop on the nearby train to continue my day, and come back to get it when they are finished. I think their services are very affordable!

Lee's Auto Service checked out the entire car from top to bottom, drove the vehicle around the block, inspected the tires, etc. and were not able to discover anything wrong with the car. I felt confident about their assessment and walked away knowing my car was going to be fine without performing any additional work.

Lee's was very professional, and in a great location - right by the Brookland Metro. They were much more reasonably priced than other quotes I got. My only concern - which may not be a concern - was that they claimed I needed an oil change. I had recently gone by Jiffy Lube, so I was skeptical. They said sometimes Jiffy Lube doesn't flush it properly. I don't know who was being honest - Lee's or Jiffy Luby - but I put my money on Lee's.
