ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXPERTS

Overall it went very well. She was very thorough and went into parts of our house that even we have not been in. We thought that the attic above the bedroom was sealed off, but she got us to push the hatch a little harder and we found a fan that was always on (not thermostatically controlled,) which was an energy waster. She also climbed under our sunroom and gave us some suggestions to seal that off better as well. Most of the suggestions are pretty common sense, but knowing where to look for them and what to do comes with experience. We had a different "auditor" come out and he was nowhere as helpful as Pascal was. She sent us a report a day later and it had everything in it she walked around and showed us, which is handy as we can check things off as we go.

Pascale arrived on time and explained the entire process to me. After setting up her equipment, she walked me through my entire house pointing out problem areas and explaining their significance to my homes efficiency. She identified both major and minor areas of concern and explained how I could go about fixing them. Upon completion of the inspection she walked through everything again and a couple of days later she provided a written report detailing everything she had found with pictures and suggestions on how to fix the problems. I was extremely impressed with the level of detail in the inspection and the resulting report. I wouldn?t hesitate in recommending this company to anyone who needs and energy audit.

Arrived on time. Very professional and thorough. Explained problems during and after audit. Provided a comprehensive written report with recommendations for problem areas. Surfaced significant problems of which we were not aware. Well worth the cost.

She was very quick and efficient, and cut no corners. I liked the way she worked and would recommend her services to anyone. She was scrupulous to assure me that she received no fees from contractors whom I might employ.

She was methodical and thorough with her survey. After spending about 3 hours looking around, she then took me around the house to point out the leaks. Since the blower at the front door was sucking air from the house, I could feel the cold air wherever it was seeping in. She patiently explained what was causing the different leaks or, in the case of the furnace or appliances, the excess power usage. Then, she offered detailed, practical correctives for each problem. Today, six days later, she emailed me a detailed follow-up report complete with pictures outlining her findings and, again, providing remedies as well as reliable contractors or suppliers of green home equipment. This is a service that EVERYONE should get, provided by a vendor I'd recommend without reservation.

Perfect experience! Prompt, professional, patient and informative. We implemented Pascale's suggestions and found our home to be more comfortable immediately. It is too soon to determine how much we are saving on our utility bills. Her recommendations for an insulation company and handyman were very helpful.

Everything went fine. She was on time and spent 3 hours auditing my home. I received a written report within one week of the audit.

I thought the woman was really great. She actually came back a second time because they had a staffing change and she made it a point to follow up and redo the whole thing so that she could be sure she had all of the information. They were very professional.

Overall the audit was fair - I would not recommend this service for most as what you get for the amount paid is somewhat questionable. We were told the audit would last for about 4 hours - it lasted for less than two and the auditor seems to rush out at the end as well. Very little was explained to us at the end of the audit - in fact, for most things we had to inquire. A report was then sent to us a few days later. For the money invested, and since for some reason the audit occured in 1/2 the time as estimated, it would have been nice to have a sit down conversation with the auditor and go over most of the things that were found. We basically spent over $300 and were advised to change light bulbs and insulate the attic - basic items that were already known. Yes there were a few other minor items that were of interest, but in relativity to the cost and time of the service, I'm not sure the cost value was there. My opinion may have been changed if some moretime was spent with the owners of the home being audited since a majority of the $300+ cost is labor, for which we only got 50%.

Pascal was wonderful and responsive: she arrived punctually on the agreed date & time; explained to us in detail what she was going tto do and why; took incredible care in the conduct of the audit, explaining to us at each step what was happening; she even pointed out to us things we did not know (e.g. the importance of cleaning out the refrigerator coils to improve its efficiency and lower its energy use) and even fixed soem of these for us. Pascal went over the initial audit findings immediately after completion and we got her report within a few days. It was a great learning experience! We have already started using her advice and recommendations. Would definitely use her again! Suggestion if you are considering engaging Pascal: do allow for 3-4 hours for the audit, and ensure that Pascal gets access to all p[arts of the house including attics, baths, cupboards and closets.

Pascale arrived right on time, and with all of the equipment she needed to tell us where our house was leaking. She checked our major appliances for age and efficiency, and was full of information the entire time she was at our house. Her report was delivered to us in 3 days (over a weekend!), and it contained extremely useful information on how to improve our house's energy efficiency.

Overall it was high quality. There was a little bit of a turnaround time for the written report. I like that it was a one person stop for the work. She seemed to be very personable and took more time than might have been required to look at everything. The only downfall was that she was not very knowledgeable about construction materials and larger changes but she was very knowledgeable about weatherization. Her price was quite reasonable.

Highly recommended. Excellent job in finding leaks large and small, and explaining what needed to be done to correct them. Audit will more than pay for itself very quickly.

Great job! Pascale arrived on the button and was professional and thorough. The audit took over two hours and at the end she reviewed all her findings, which will be fully written up and sent in a week. She pointed out some simple things we can do, and some not-so-simple things that we'll have another contractor take care of, but in all she believes we can save about 30% or more on our energy usage. Based on her ballpark estimate of the cost, that should pay itself back in just a couple of years of energy savings, not to mention the smaller carbon footprint. Pascale is a very energetic and knowledgeable person who is deeply committed to people saving energy and reducing greenhouse gases. Highly recommended!

The experience was positive. They came out and audited some spots where I could increase my energy efficiency. They provided a detailed report. They were very responsive and good with communication.

Pascale showed up on time as promised and did a thorough audit of my house. It took her about an hour to set up and do the interior audit and blower door test. Then she walked me through my entire house and showed me directly where items needed fixing and what I could do myself and what someone should be called in for. After that, we walked around the exterior, basement, and attic where she reccomended additional improvement. She was very knowledgable and answered all my questions easily. The report came via e-mail two days later and detailed everything she had said in person, plus gave the improvements where I could get the greatest monetary return.

Very responsive to our inquiries re: the audit and was very flexible in setting up a time for the audit. The audit was very thorough but efficient and the representative explained all the results in terms we could understand. She also did on-the-spot improvements. Within a few days we also received a report that documented the results of the audit, provided a series of recommendations for what we could do to address the findings, and also provided names and contact of various companies/individuals that may be able to help us in addressing the weaknesses in our house. We had originally planned to replace all our windows to improve energy efficiency in our home, but based on the audit, this will not be necessary, and we can now focus our efforts and money on things that will result in more bang for our buck in terms of energy efficiency. We were very pleased with the quality of service provided.

It was a pleasant experience. We may get a repeat audit following remodelling.

When they did the audit, they found a a few serious problems on their audit, but nothing that could explain the incredibly high electricity bills. However, they also found that the meter had been blatantly misread the last month - and that might be why I had such a high electricity bill that month. They also provided an estimate for how much electricity I'm actually using. Based on that estimate, I've entered a formal complaint with Pepco to get my meter double-checked. Hopefully, Pepco will check my meter and admit that my electricity usage is being mismeasured, but I'll have to wait and see for that. If you get ridiculously high electricity bills, hire this company. Either they'll find something you're doing wrong, or they'll help you file a complaint with Pepco.

Pascale appeared and acted professionally at all times. She worked steadily throughout our 3,000 sq. ft home for about 3 hours before providing a verbal summary of results and showing me data on her computer. A written report is to follow in a few days. She was thorough and detailed in her analysis of energy and fuel usage. Pascale's service was exactly what was expected. Though she had to move some furniture to allow inspections and mount equipment to take some meter readings, she left everything as she found it in our home. She seemed to appreciate our offer of decaffeinated hot tea. I was sufficiently impressed with her work that immediately invited Pascale to view my 7,000 sq. ft. office space to determine if an energy audit would be useful there as well. She spent a half hour looking around before determining "yes". Though she offered the home energy audit discounted price for Angie's List members, I declined because she spent added time at my office in another location and felt it very worthwhile.
