DC Historic Designs is a small historic preservation and architectural design firm that specializes in historic homes in DC, MD, and VA. We work with clients in project planning, developing and visualizing (rendering) various design options for new construction, restoration and renovation projects that also comply with historic preservation guidelines and requirements. DC Historic Designs has 6 employees, with expertise in architectural design, historic preservation, and building. For consulting and project planning, we charge on an hourly basis. Design work is usually done on a set fee basis.
