Carpet & Floor Designs

Carpet and Floor cut and bound an area wool carpet we owned to a custom size. While the work was done well, the service was quite poor. I recently attempted to have the carpet cut down again to fit our dining room in a new house. I dropped the carpet off at the location on a Saturday morning. Despite several calls it took over two and a half weeks to get an estimate, which was reasonable. I requested they go ahead and complete the work and requested to pick up the carpet the following Saturday (3 weeks from initial drop off date). They agreed. Unfortunately on Saturday the carpet was not ready. I was told "maybe" the following week. I am going to pick up the carpet and have the work done elsewhere as I do not trust the work will ever be done.

This was a nightmare. I am still dealing with getting a lot of problems fixed. The $9000 is the amount that I paid, but it was not the entire bill. I wasn't going to give them another dime. When they were finished, the bathroom still had drain problems, the new tile was terrible and there is a list of countless other things that I'm am not happy with. After doing some research with DCRA, I found out that they haven't even been a licensed contractor since 2002.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED, AND HAPPY WITH THE JOB THAT CARPET & FLOOR DESIGNS DID WITH MY FLOORING. THE WORKERS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, WERE VERY PUNCTUAL, AND DEPENDABLE.
