A LITTLE SHOP OF FLOWERS

Enchanted Florist did beautiful and unique flowers for my small, home garden wedding. The design help was superior, production timely and artful, flowers fresh and all delivered in a timely and professional manner. Their price was reasonable, particularly in comparison to what some other, less reputable florists would have charged.

I met with the owner a few days before my wedding and discussed what kind of bouquet I wanted -- local wildflowers. She was clear that she could only know precisely what flowers would be available based on what was actually blooming, and delivered by her providers, a day or so beforehand. She assembled an extremely beautiful display of peonies and lilacs which was seasonal, artfully and skillfully prepared. The bouquet was delivered on time to the Mayflower Hotel as requested. Many wedding guests remarked on its beauty and uniqueness. The flowers were so fresh that the bouquet lasted in a vase for the better part of a week after the wedding! Extremely pleased with A Little Shop of Flowers and definitely plan to use her services again.

I was very happy with using A Little Shop of Flowers for my wedding. I used them after they were recommended by a friend who had also used them for her wedding. I believe the owner's name is Shesika (probably misspelled - don't quote me!) and I worked with her directly. After she told me roughly what price to expect for bouquets and arrangements, I gave her a dollar topline and I believe she gave me great value for the money. I gave her a general directions: I wanted blue and white flowers, and I had some favorite types, but I put the composition in her hands. They were delivered as promised (2 deliveries; one for bouquets to our hotel and one to the reception site in Georgetown) and they were beautiful. The only downside to the whole process was that she could not finalize everything more than a week or two in advance - she needed to wait to see what was in bloom right before the wedding, plus she was very busy with Mother's Day the week before my wedding. I had no problem with the last-minute finalization of things but it made my fiance verrrry nervous - what if something went wrong, and we wouldn't have time to fix any problems? But it all went great and I definitely recommend this business.

They went above and beyond. I needed a mylar balloon. They were willing to head off and look around the neighborhood to include it with the flowers. I've used 6 or 7 florists in DC and this is by far has the best arrangements.
