Golden Hands Locksmith is a true life saver! Dani responded instantly, arrived faster than we could have possibly expected, and saved us from a freezing cold night on the porch! We can't recommend Golden Hands Locksmith enough and we will happily use them again if we are ever in a bind. You can't go wrong.

He was extremely professional, honest and transparent with his pricing and work. He also gave me advice on what to do with a problem I had with the door that had nothing to do with the lock.

Came to house within a couple of hours of the call, identified problem in a lock, and rebuilt it so that it works perfectly now.  Rebuilding the lock saved me a lot of money compared with buying a new one.  Extremely satisfied and would call them again

It seems inevitable to be locked out of one's home, and it did.  Fortunately, it was only the bottom lock, I had my mobile phone, and was able to call various friends who either referred me to locksmith(s) in the area and/or searched the internet for ones that are open 24/7 in the DC Metro area.  It was a frustrating experience, made more so by the fact the locksmith thought it would be 'easy' and in the end, it wasn't so easy.  When he used the 'credit card trick', I thought, "Why am I paying someone to do something I saw in the movies?  I suppose that's reassuring that even a locksmith had difficulty entering the residence.  He also provided some suggestions regarding locks but after paying $150 to be let in, the last thing I wanted to hear was a sales pitch.  I don't know if I would use the provider in the future, unless it's absolutely necessary.  If there was a 'depends' or 'maybe' option, I would select that.  In the end, the task was completed.

I had a break-in and the burglar stole my spare house keys to open all of the locks in my house.  By the time the police finished the investigation, it was around 11pm.  
I had used another locksmith to change the locks when I moved into my house, but they wouldn't return my calls, even though they claimed to offer 24 hour service.  A builder who worked on my property referred me to this company. I called and immediately someone picked up - it went to a cellphone instead of a voicemail.  I explained my situation and someone came to my house immediately.  
The guy who came was amazing.  He figured out how the burglar how got in, which even the police couldn't figure out.  He was very knowledgeable about different types of locks and really took the time to explain my options so I would understand and feel safe so I wouldn't have to worry about someone breaking in the way that was done before.  I did upgrade to a more secure lock (something I needed because of the doors I have) but I don't feel that I wasn't sold more than I needed because he did tell me that I didn't need a pricier lock option.  I also later confirmed the information he told me with other people.
He checked all of the locks in my house and while never pressuring me to make any purchases, he explained the level of security I had and if he thought it wasn't secure, he told me.  I will never use another locksmith.
