Ernest took the time to prepare and re-spray all a brilliant white. We keep staring at the room - it's like new!
Can't speak highly enough of both Ernest and the whole process.
"I have received calls to repair chips in every type of counter top, from laminate, corian, granite and man made products like quartz silestone. Since the name of my company is MrResurface, some have called thinking I could quickly repair any damaged counter. That is only true if its a counter top I have resurfaced as I will have the same color to do a touch up. The finish I apply to the laminate formica is not exempt from being damaged. Any counter top can be chipped except for a stainless steel counters such as is usually found in restaurants as those would just be dented if something heavy fell on it. The advantage of resurfacing your counter tops has over other processes is that it can be repaired inexpensively. Usually under $100 dollars a resurfaced counter top can be repaired and in this customers case for free as I gave her some of the catalyst for the special order color she wanted as I left the material with her so she could perform repairs herself if need be. If your granite counter is chipped you are looking at a very costly repair to replace a section of the granite. Because of that most people live with the damage or spend $1500 or more to repair it. If something hits the edge of the counter top it can an may chip as I have seen chips on the edges of granite counter tops were an under mount sink meets the counter because of the exposed edge of counter that can be hit by dishes, pots and pans. When I saw the customer's counter who wrote this review there were a couple of chips on the edge that took me less than five minutes to repair. As I stated above, the damage to any other type of counter top is not so easy to repair. I have had customers very happy to know that an accidental drop on their counter did not cost them a lot to repair. I have a showroom that has really impressed people who were able to see and feel how hard and professional the resurfaced counter top is. The showroom is located at 913 Meriden Rd, Waterbury, CT and open by appointment."
At my request to protect the newly refinished hallway & stairway , he laid a tarp & plastic covering from my doorway to the upstairs bathroom. I had prepped the bathroom by removing everything that was not attached. Earnest protected the entire area surrounding the tub with a paper covering and plastic drape.
The job was completed this morning in less than 3 hrs.
There is an odor. I do not have a window in this bathroom so I have the windows open in the surrounding rooms with the vents & fans going. The area was pretty clean when Earnest was finished and I only had to do a quick vacuum & light dusting of the bathroom & hallway from a little paint dust.
Earnest is punctual, polite and professional. I would use him again and would recommend him to my friends.
We have a couple of more projects coming up, and will definitely use him again. Overall a great experience, and highly recommended. I was blown away by the result.
like new! He spent several hours working on it, because the tub was in bad condition to start.
I had not realized how bad it was, and had not been able to let him know in advance that this
would be a particularly time-consuming job. But in spite of this, Ernest stayed and finished
the job in about five hours of continuous work, with care and professionalism. He arrived on time, explained what
was needed, why price adjustment was needed, and worked for hours until it was completely finished and looked like
new. I had never seen it looking so well! I would recomend this company and would
definitely use Mr. Resurface again.
"This job was an old large square farmers tub with to seats. It was a beast to strip and it had a lot of filling that needed to be done. I got the tub showroom ready five hours later. Thanks for the kind review."
I highly recommend Ernest.
