I needed belts and pulleys on my riding mower, I waited 5 weeks to get the mower done and back and they replaced more than I needed or asked for with no authorization and I was told I should have told them to call me before they did additional work, I paid and moved on but I felt like they were holding my property for ransom. After having my mower back for 10 weeks and using it aprox. 6 times the belt that operates the blades came off the mower and upon looking at it I discovered it was warn and almost split in half, I called and spoke with the owner Jason Schmidt for 10 minutes, at this point he told me that because I bought the machine at Home Depot that I was less important than someone else, now I have spent over $1000.00 fixing this machine over the past three years. He then tells me that they didn't replace the belt and again it's not his problem, I tried to explain that they had the machine there and torn apart replacing all the belts and pulleys so why would you put the worn and broken belt back on...why not replace that one as well??? Then he tells me he won't do anything to help me and he's going to charge me to pick it up again and he's going to charge me labor again and for the part, I told him he should waive the pick up and labor, because it was already there and apart and should have been done already but I would pay for the part, he again tells me that he didn't see how this was his problem and there was nothing he could do for me..... This was the owner!!! He was talking over me the entire time, he was rude, pompous and should never talk to customers, I work at a car dealership and have been working with service customers like myself for 15 years and I was shocked at how he was treating a paying customer that has spent a lot of money in his shop.
