 + -1 moreI generally do all service on my vehicle, however, when my vehicle's transmission began acting up I decided to take it to Wallingford Tire and Auto as they are local and were recommended by a family member. To make a long story short, I paid $189 to be told that they don't work on transmissions and send those repairs out. Had I been told upfront that they don't work on transmissions I would have brought it somewhere else and saved myself that "testing fee" as I already knew and conveyed to them what was wrong with it. The fee they were going to charge was much more than what I actually paid from a shop I could deal with directly, not having to deal with them as the "middle man".

He provides great and timely service and always explains why we do or do not need something done. We can highly recommend him. He has kept our 2002 Dodge Caravan running smoothly for many years now.

 + 0 moreJohn Bonini went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with both the high quality of the parts and the high quality of the service. He checked both internally through their parts system & online at the various tire manufacturers to provide me the best tire sale deal and found me an excellent deal on high performance tires at regular performance pricing, and managed to find an additional "buy 3 get 1 free" deal on top of that. Service was completed ahead of schedule. I've since brought several cars to Wallingford Tire & Auto for standard maintenance as well as for repairs and have been more than pleased each time.
Description of Work: new tires, balance, mount, full alignment, oil/fluid change, transmission fluid change general safety inspection including brakes and suspension

 + -1 moreI go to John and Mike at Wallingford Tire and Auto for mostof the maintenance and repair jobs for my car. I trust them to give me an honest opinion as to what is needed and then do the job right. They will explain the situation and discuss the options as to what can and should be done. They're always friendly and professional about their work.
