"Costumer agreed to meet on the week of the 30th in ordered to have the work performed. However she continued to mentioned that it would be best if it could be done sooner. I agreed that I would let her know if we could show up sooner. Costumer texted multiple times asking if I would perform the work early and I mentioned multiple times that due to weather I would not be able to do it. I have screenshots of weather forecasts and text conversations that can be provided if needed where I explicitly say we won’t show up. Furthermore the “important event” and its date was not mentioned at all until the day the review was written. I received a message from the costumer the same day the review was written saying that they hired someone else. The date is 6/30 and according to the message they sent on the same date, the “important event” isn’t scheduled until 7/6 (a week later) There fore “scrambling to find someone else” is simply a deceitful tactic to make us seem like we left the costumer in a tough situation. Please consider that the work would only have been 3 hours long so getting someone to do it within a week would be very easy. (As shown since they hired someone else the same day I received a message asking if I was going to show up) We do feel sorry that we couldn’t perform the work on a timely manner, and the costumer was made fully aware how much rain pushes back our schedule. I completely understand how they felt lost after I stoped replying to their overwhelming messages, but I do not feel that being deceitful and lying on a review about us is deserved. As you can see with the rest of our reviews, it simply doesn’t make sense for us to leave someone in a situation as described on the costumes review."
