They removed the old flagstone walkway, and the deteriorating front steps and then rebuilt the front steps with concrete and granite. They workers have been with them a long time and work well together. They were able to bring several teams down and paved the front walkway which was about 50 feet long in one day. Now I use the front door, rather than the garage because the walkway is so nice.
The wall is beautiful! Joe and his crew exceeded my expectations in every way. If planning masonry work you should definately consider Joe Romanello!
The job did not go well. They started out ok, then would leave my job to go do other jobs. It was very difficult to get him back to the job. He would not answer my numerous phone calls. i finally had to contact the masonry supply company to help get him back to my job.
"this was a very disorganized person....her other mason passed away suddenly . so i was reommended by my supplier......that was fine..she was a very pleasant person but could not make up her mind on areas of her project..which was a time consuming issue..there were never complete answers on how to address problems that other mason did also she did not follow rules to town guidelines of greenwich ct..i tried to comply but she wanted it done her way(wrong way)but i did get paid for my services with no problems...."
