Description of Work: Removal of a load bearing wall, reconfiguring a hallway/closet and full wood flooring, drywall and painting for space, including ceiling with new insulation. Electrical update and mantle replacement in space as well. | |A challenge with the permit process arose (existing, unrelated deck was missing a certificate of occupancy) and the Design Build team handled brilliantly for a small additional charge. | |Project was delivered largely on time. The painter required one return trip to paint 2 missed areas.

 + -1 moreI thought they had an excellent project manger. They stayed in touch with me, communicated what they were doing, very nice, and professional.
Description of Work: They did a few projects. They did a rebuild with custom closets and an attic pull down stairs. They also put a floor and light in the attic.

 + -1 moreThe whole process was terrific. DavId Adams (owner) initially came and listened to what I wanted, and took my design ideas and made the design really happen and within my budge paramenters. Once we agreed on the design, he introduced me to Ray who was the job super. The guys all came on the days they said, and made it happen. Becuase of the design, we realy had to do the whole job at once, as opposed to stage it. They started with a schedule that they pretty much stuck to. I had no problem with them working over the holidays and other than nothing scheduled to happen between Christmas and New Year the whole process was great. The guys really clean up after themselves during the day. They really minimize the disruption. They had no problem with my dog. There were a few change orders that always seem to come up in any project, but the pricing was fair. I would use Design Build again with no hesitation. They really are an A+ company!
Description of Work: Design Build totally renovated my kitchen, took out a wall to combine it with my living room, put in a new front entrance, driveway was relocated, new wood floors throughout the 1st floor of my house and rebuilt my unattached garage, relocating where the garage door entrances were, installed a stone patio and hot tub. We worked very closely to make the design work and what I wanted.
