MORIARTY'S INVISIBLE FENCE

Previous tenant at the property that my husband and I are renting had the Invisible Fence system installed, but took the transmitter when he/she moved. Luckily the outdoor line was still in place, so the hardest/most expensive/most time-consuming part was already done.  We contacted Moriarty's to set up a site visit for an evaluation of the existing system and estimate for installation/equipment/training sessions.  They returned our call promptly, but because they are so busy it was several weeks before they could fit us into their schedule for the initial consultation (granted it was late spring/early summer - their peak season; plus my husband and I both work very long hours so we were only available on Saturdays). Luckily, they were able to schedule us for the installation and multiple training sessions (spaced about a week apart) soon after.  All of the employees we encountered (from those answering the phone to the folks who came to our home) were very knowledgeable about their product, the training program and were extremely professional in their interactions with us AND the dogs.  Because of the improved technology and refined training program, our 2 current dogs learned the system very quickly and have only had one containment failure since installation  (it has improved immensely in the past 15-20 years -- I remember a very different system when I was introduced to Invisible Fence when I was a teenager and my parents purchased it for the family dog).  I was honestly very surprised at how quickly the dogs accepted the barrier, since they can both be extremely stubborn at times!  The only down-side is that it is a fairly expensive service - and we were lucky enough to already have the signal-emitting line in place on the property when we moved in.  However, the trade-off of happier puppies who are getting more exercise & fresh air and peace of mind for us (not constantly worrying about them slipping their leash and running into the road) makes it well worth the investment.  All of the team members at Moriarty's were professional, helpful, and knowledgeable.  I would recommend them to anyone considering this service.
