I called E and R after receiving a quote from another plumber where they wanted to charge close to $200 extra to replace a small valve/pipe on the top of my water heater. After speaking with Rick on the phone and explaining the situation, I was able to send him a picture of existing water heater, and he stated that the valve would certainly not cost that much to replace. He took me through options for new water heaters and explained the benefits of each, right down to how the base model only had a scaled warranty, and that it would be more beneficial to move to the next model. I appreciated the transparency throughout the phone call. He quoted me a price, and told me that his guys could be at my home less than 2 hours later. I was impressed with the turnaround time. They showed up 15 minutes early, and from beginning to end they were nothing but professional. The price I paid is the exact price that I was quoted over the phone, and that speaks volumes. Thank you E and R, and I will certainly use them again in the future.

Came out in pouring rain hour after I called with broken water heater. Also virus is here they wiped all surfaces and kept safe distance from us. Their work was great and cleaned up after themselves like they were never here. Great job

They were professional and quick. My only concern is the lack of a paper invoice for warranty purposes. They called me after reading my review and supplied the warranty which they had taped to the back of the water tank. Obviously they vare for their clients.

Very efficient and left the site clean. Answered all my questions.

update 3/20/20.. I finally received the receipt on 3/13/20 only after I posted this review ...Service was fast because they came right away. But trying to contact them after was impossible. I had a problem and I also needed them to provide me with a receipt and never received one. I will never use them again. Customer service and honesty is important to me and I did not get that from them!

I am very pleased with the replacement of my hot water heater by E and R Plumbing. They arrived when they said they would, were courteous, cleaned up afterwards and gave me a good price. They even installed the next day after I called them. I recommend them to anyone.

Richard called me back immediately when I reached out through home advisor and was at my house in 2-3 hours to replace our leaking hot water heater. He was responsive, prompt, and efficient. I would hire him again!

E & R Plumbing was amazing!!! Fantastic service!!! The replaced our hot water heater the very next day!!! The price was reasonable and the installation was fast. Would definitely use them again.

E&R was very responsive to my inquiry about replacing a hot water heater and were able to begin work the following day. The price quoted was quite reasonable (in fact, the lowest of several I received), and they kept to the quoted price even though the project required more work than I think they initially expected. They showed up on time and remained engaged with the project until it was completed. I will definitely use them for future plumbing needs.

On Nov. 7, 2019 E and R replaced our 10-year-old water heater ($1,400.) on the recommendation of a neighbor in our condo assoc. He said there was no problem. I found out later that he takes cold showers! Our showers went from cold cal ding hot comfortable Luke warm cold in 3 minutes. Ed installed a mixing valve ($400.) Still no change. We have had 2 min. comfortable showers ever since. We gave them 3 weeks in Dec. to recover from the flu and a bad cold. Rich response to many phone calls was to have us make adjustments to the water temperatures. Once he said Ed could come out that day or the next morning. We chose the next morning because of my husbands Cancer treatment that day. Ed never showed up and Rich never called to explain why or to re-schedule. Further, calls from us have been ignored by them in spite of Rich reassurance that he would take good care of us because of my husband 2 cancers and the fact that his parents had cancer, and he knows what we are going through. All he has done is give us more stress!!! We are still waiting for a bill of sale and the warranty. I will let you know if they ever come back and help us. I keep my word! Do not pay them with check. UPDATE 3/31/2020--- Ed (plumber) and Rich (office) returned on march 24th, 2020 because the BBB sent them a letter with my complaint. Since the kitchen faucet was holding the water temperature, they said the problem was with a faucet in our shower. They were not able to fix it, so we left it at that. I will now get a plumber who can fix it. If they had come here and checked it out in the beginning, my husband and I would not have had to go through months of this kind of stress. Their communication with each other and with us, leaves a lot to be desired. We got the warranty from them after saying we would not contact the BBB until we had it!
