He provided a thorough inspection of both the roof and attic, which gave me confidence in his expertise. After having six other roofing companies come out, I knew I’d be in good hands with Jarod and his talented crew. Their professionalism and attention to detail were impressive, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Definitely a 5+ star experience!

Jarod displayed a great sense of professionalism. I had 10 potential bids but after I met with him, I was sold. I did not meet with the others . The price was very reasonable, he delivered on his word , that said, the job was done in one day as promised. He did an excellent job and he surpassed my expectations. Job completed 7/17/2020, took 2 days to complete. Jared (the owner) promptly returned my call for a roof estimate. He explained in detail the steps that would be taken to replace our roof and provided a competitive estimate for the job. His four person team were incredible to watch as they stripped off the old roof and installed the new one. The crew was polite and very hard working. They did anexcellent job on the roof and did a thorough cleanup. We would definitely hire JS &R LLC again for other work.

We cannot say nicer things about Jarod and his crew! We interviewed 5 other roofing companies and there was no doubt in our minds that J.S. & R. L.L.C. was the company to choose! Jarod's price estimate was one of the best and he came better prepared than the other companies when providing an estimate. Prior to our roof replacement, we felt overwhelmed because we had little experience with the process. However, Jarod throughly explained each step, provided a rationale for why he uses the high quality products he chooses, and provided us with the opportunity to see his previous shingle work in-person to get an idea for colors that would go well with our house. Jarod's insight and knowledge put our minds at ease and we felt confident about his ideas and suggestions. He was always readily accessible to answer our questions and checked-in prior to and during our roof replacement. The crew started on time and were professional, courteous, hardworking, and efficient. They had an amazing attention to detail and noticed a problem over our garage and venting issues, which they fixed at no additional charge. In addition, the work site was clean and the job was done on time. We are absolutely in love with our new roof and have already recommended J.S. & R. L.L.C. to our family and friends. I rescind my initial review (praising their good work) due to the fact that my new roof is still leaking and the contractor is refusing to make it right. I have reached out several times to get him to do the right thing only to be sworn at, hung up on, and told never to contact him again. The roof is leaking, starter shingles not installed, vent(s) not installed properly, new plywood was installed directly over existing old shingles, and he keeps blaming a company that came before him for causing the leak believing that they came after him. Even when I showed him documentation that nobody was on the roof, that it was a hot water heater installation done from inside the home and prior to his roof installation...he still blames another company.

Outstanding! I interviewed 5 other siding/roofing companies. I decided that J.S. & R. Roofing/Siding was the one because I felt confident about his explanations and suggestions. Jared came to my home and explained-in detail what he could do -with good suggestions. He and his crew worked most professionally & efficiently. The work was done on time-with the extras thrown in at no extra cost. Hi price was fair and most competitive. In the future when I will need a new roof--I will definitely call Jared--no need to call the others. I would absolutely recommend J.S. & R. LLC for siding/roofing.

Contacted Jerrod thru a neighbors referral. He came out the next day to estimate the roof. Before even measuring, he estimated it to be a certain size, less than previous contractors stated. When I questioned the number, he assured me it was. Then measured it in front of me. Sure enough, he was right on the money. And his quote was $2000 LESS than the others, for complete shingles and plywood replacement. His crew was Awesome!! They showed up on time, were polite, and within 15 mins, were on the roof going to work. They literally didn't stop for 11 hours, and only asked for an outside outlet (turns out it was to plug in a microwave for their lunch). The way this crew was considerate and unobtrusive, I would've let them use my kitchen. When they left, the roof looked great, the shingles were already laying flat and uniform, the gutters were fit better than previous, and not a single nail found in the yard. It rained the very next day and I inspected the attic for leaks...dry as a bone! I will definitely call this company again when needed. Customer for Life!.

Promptly returned phone calls. Provided competitive estimate for replacement of the roof during the initial visit. Crew started on time and replacement of the roof completed in the promised two days. The crew did a thorough clean up and the new roof looks great.

Fantastic. i read the review below and needed to correct the wrongs done by the last review. I could not be happier. my cost was $10K, but i required much more than roofing. Professionals, true craftsman. Quick and completely cleaned. Job is just finishing up and we are blown away. I hope i can post pictures because my roof was bad real bad. they came in stripped it in an hour and a half. My shrubs are alive and my house is warm. They are just finishing up my garage and my house looks spectacular. First time home buyer and was terrified of this process. JS & R was absolutely spot on. The only thing left is to hand my check over and thank them for the work. I am a construction estimator and only hired them because of the reviews on Angies List. They are spot on!!!

We entered into contract with this company in December of 2018 to install a new roof which included a ridge vent (for ventilation). On the day the new roof was installed we arrived home from work after dark to a dumpster filled with old roofing material and on the top of the pile was quite a few empty beer cans and beer boxes, I knew this was a bad sign so I took photos of this. 3 months later the entire roof leaked because they forgot to put the water and ice barrier down. They also did not install the ridge vent (we questioned this via email and the owners response was he couldn't because of the pitch of the roof which is rediculous, you can put a ridge vent on any roof!) Due to the lack of ventilation it caused black mold in the entire attic. They came to fix it by installing the water/ice barrier material that they forgot to put on in march of 2019 but still did not install a ridge vent which is needed to vent air into the attic. I repeatedly voiced my concerns to the owner about the mold and he emailed me that it wasn't mold, just algae and it would dry up. Its now 14 months later (and we now have become very educated on roof ventilation) after several emails back and fourth to the owner and a final phone call to him which he became extremely belligerent, told me it's not his fault and told me to F off and hung up on me. We now have hired a very expensive mold abatement company and also had to pay a new professional roofing contractor to install a ridge vent which was in my contract with JS&R Roofing. Such a nightmare!!!

Overall I am very pleased with the quality of work Jarod and his crew provided. The crew were timely, efficient and cleaned up the job site nicely before they left. I highly recommend Jarod and his crew. Jarod is a down to earth and tell it like it is person. I had three different companies come out and give me estimates. The two other companies had significantly higher estimates even when you accounted for their Fall / Labor Day 'discounts' . These so called 'discounts' were obvious ways for these other companies to inflate their prices and then make you feel like you were getting some sort of better deal. Jarod provided the best estimate and broke down the details so you could understand exactly what you were paying for and why he had the better pricing. Every roof is different. My roof was seriously overdue to be re-shingled. In one day Jarod and his crew completely stripped my roof, replaced several sections of damaged plywood, re-shingled the roof and cleaned up. I would definitely hire Jarod and his crew again.

J.S. and R did our roof 6/13/19. They left shingles with creases and rips. When we asked for these mistakes to be fixed, he wouldn't let us talk and kept talking over us. He refused to fix the roof and said there is nothing to talk about. He was rude and condescending. We DO NOT reccomend this company and are extremely unsatisfied.

Jared delivered what he promised. The price was at my number, the colors were exactly as determined and it was all completed in a week from the time of my first phone call. The crew was professional and in and out in 1.5 days. He was recommended by a friend and I wanted to go local. The yard was left clean, no damage to plants and I only found a dozen nails on my property. The product is Certainteed, a good brand name. I have begun to recommend JS and R to friends.

Well the work crew and supervisor showed up at 7:30AM as scheduled and I had a new roof on my house by 3:00PM. All of the old shingles were disposed of and no debris was found in my yard. I am very happy that I chose JS and R to do this work. I will be selling this house in the spring and a huge plus when selling is that the roof is brand new! Thanks JS and R for doing a great job!

Jarod ( the owner) provided a detailed quote and walked through the entire job which included a checklist of items which was real good. I like attention to detail and JS and R is spot on when it comes to detail and doing the job right. Jarod scheduled the job and was on time. His crew was incredible. Each person had a task and performed excellent. The crew was polite, respectful, hard working and did an excellent job on the roof and clean up. Our 1600 sq foot colonial needed a new roof, and had three layers on top (including the original wood layer and two asphalt layers atop it). Two other companies came in for estimates, measured and took pictures from the outside and left. Jarod did that, too, but he was more thorough - he went into our attic, so he was able to tell us from the outset that he would be replacing the plywood as well. His quote was higher than the other one we ended up getting, but Jarod was able to break down the cost so we could see that he was including more work and materials than the other company was. He also offered us addresses for his previous clients so we could see their roofs to pick a shingle color and texture. His quote was spot-on - we paid exactly what he quoted. On the big day, his crews arrived promptly in the early morning, tented the house, then were hard at work all day. They stripped off all three layers of old roofing and plywood, then put the new roof on in one day, with a second day for staff to come back and clean up the remaining debris in our yard. My wife was home with our infant daughter on the roofing day, and his crew was very respectful when they needed a break from the noise. All work stopped for the time that my daughter and wife were moving through the work zone/out from under the tenting to get out to our car. Only real complaint is that, when crews came back to clean the next day, they only picked up the roofing debris from our yard. While they did a good job in our yard, there was still debris left in our attic that we were on our own for, and because houses in our neighborhood are close together, there was a small amount of debris in our neighbors' yard. Those neighbors were on vacation at the time, and crews did not attempt to clean up that debris. We ended up doing it ourselves so our neighbors would not come home to a mess. It's been six months since the new roof was put on and we have no complaints. Would definitely hire Jarod and JS & R again.

After interviewing 4 roofing companies, I chose their company because 1. they beat the other company's price and 2. they provided professional, friendly, quality, and speedy service... you could tell they knew what they were doing! They set up, got right to work, answered all my many questions and concerns, and with assistance and literally holding my hand because I am afraid of heights, I got up on the roof with them and they showed me that it was good that I decided to replace the roof because they found several leaks that I was unaware of...I saw the pools of water underneath the shingles of my roof! When they finished, they cleaned up, I paid my bill via a referred loan/card service, and I have already recommended this company to several of my family, friends, and neighbor's. I feel they went above and beyond the scope of their job description. I am satisfied with the job they did and I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for a roofing company.
