 + -1 moreEverything went very well. When we told him what we needed fixed, he often came up with better solutions than we had. For example, we asked him to re-frame a window in the bathroom (shower) because the sill had rotted. He suggested we tile instead because wood should not be used there. When he took out the window sill, he discovered that the wall had problems too and suggested we re-tile the whole thing. He also improved our plans for an outside fence. He was easy to work with and very professional.
Description of Work: We actually called a handyman company and got Harold, but since Harold and a friend did all the work, and if we had more work we would call Harold directly, I am giving credit to him and his company here. We hired Harold for a variety of jobs around the house including putting up a fence, re-tiling a bathroom wall and installing a door to the garage. He is a general contractor and carpenter and quite able to do all we asked him to do. I don't want to report on the cost value of the whole job because the price was set by the handyman company for Harold's labor. We paid for materials. I don't know what Harold would have charged us if we had hired him directly.
