We hired Brad Anderson to replace a fiberglass bathtub-shower insert with a walk-in, tiled shower in one of our bathrooms. Throughout the entire job, we found Brad to be an outstanding professional: he was punctual, organized, knowledgeable, and informative; his work was incredibly precise and meticulous, plus Brad is really pleasant – someone we felt very comfortable having in our home. Our walk-in shower turned out exactly as we wanted, and we are already planning to hire Brad for our next bathroom renovation. We highly recommend Brad without reservation.

Brad was wonderful to work with -- we used him to remodel a challenging bathroom from the 1920s on the enthusiastic recommendation of a neighbor. He not only did a wonderful job but was courteous, neat, timely, flexible and super professional throughout the entire process. He finished in exactly the timeline he had stated he believed the project would take. He made the entire process easy and we are so pleased with the finished product. We would not hesitate to use Brad again and highly recommend him.

Successful project. Working w/ Brad was a pleasure. He’s very professional and knowledgeable. Very collaborative. We worked well together, as construction feasibility was important to me, probably more so than specific looks and materials. There were a couple of procurement hiccups with materials I had pre-purchased, but Brad demonstrated patience. There were a couple of little things here and there that needed to get done but weren’t specifically discussed upfront, but Brad took care of them without nickel and diming, which I respected and appreciated. He knows what’s needed to get the job done, which is what you want when you hire a professional. The quality of the tile work in particular was top notch. I highly recommend Brad. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent project from start to finish. Brad is extremely detailed, organized, on-time, with good on costs/price. Brad's skill level was among the best I've ever seen to anticipate every detail, always several steps ahead, and open to discussing options as we went along. He explains every part of the job and why he recommends the approach he wants to use. No drama, no surprises. I had the tile materials on time for him and he was on-time with getting it done right in the fewest days. Brad didn't miss a beat and EVERYTHING went exactly as planned and expected. We recently used Brad to remodel our bathroom and he did an excellent job. He was on time, on budget, kept the work area very clean, and was friendly to work with. He answered all of our questions, even some plumbing ones about other areas of the house, and had great suggestions on what materials to use. Excellent experience with Brad Andersen and his team. He was punctual, on target for costs, and advised us in many scenarios in the process of sourcing the best fixtures for the bathroom. A complete demo/remodel of a full bath. Would highly recommend. This project was projected to take 2 weeks, and it took exactly that. He was clean with demo, and although it is the center of our house, he and team were extremely mindful of us working at home. Bath: convert bath to shower base Shower Shelves: Two wire corner shelf Vanity & toilet: Remove closet, add double sink vanity. 60x19 & replace with a new toilet (same standard bowl size) Tile: Remove current tile, and add subway tile in shower raise the height, along with the gray rectangle tile for floor Shower Fixture: Heighten the shower head.

Brad did such an excellent job with our bath remodel. We would not hesitate to hire him again. He is the consummate professional and works quickly and efficiently. He had so many good ideas which we did incorporate. He is very detailed oriented and explained issues as they arose and offered a solution and, more importantly, why that solution would work. He is very thoughtful in his work — he purchased new door hardware so the door would match the new bathroom fixtures. He added a door stop so the door would not hit the newly installed shelves —- we had not even thought of these two items. But what a difference they make! We would definitely hire Brad again and would highly recommend his work! You can’t go wrong — oh and his price is very very reasonable.

Let me begin this review by saying that I am very particular; so when I say that Brad's work was great (please note, this is coming from a perfectionist). Brad's attention to detail is very good - you will get excellent craftmanship. He took my bathroom down to the studs, took out a window in the bathtub/shower; tiled the walls + floor and repaired the ceiling. He also put in the vanity, tub, toilet plus all the hardware. He did a great job as you can see in the photos. His focus is on bathrooms and kitchens, if you are doing a remodel, I highly recommend Brad's workmanship.

I hired Brad to do a total remodel of my bathroom. Since it was my only full bath, Brad was very considerate in getting me a working shower as soon as possible for which I was very appreciative! He does all the work himself , his work is meticulous and his attention to detail is unmatched. He cleaned up at the end of each day and was respectful of my property. He stayed on budget and finished the project in a timely manner. I hope to work with him again on future projects and would highly recommend him for any home project.

Hiring Brad to move my home from the 1960s to the new century was the best pandemic decision I've so far! His work is impeccable, mostly because he can't stand to leave something less than showroom ready (my residence is hardly showroom-like, but it's looking like it now - at least in the bathrooms!). But the main reason I hired Brad was his willingness to explain things to me on the visit to my home to provide an estimate. The conversation was easy and fun. Brad and Bob (his assistant) are a good time! The jobs were finished within budget and earlier than scheduled (from what I can remember). And, if that wasn't enough, the daily clean up... oh my...I swear my house was cleaner after they left than before! Brad doesn't need me to provide this review, but just in case anyone is on the fence: just hire him already! ;-)

Brad did an excellent job and built us a terrific new kitchen and bath! He did a great job and is truly a craftsman with all the requisite trade skills and experience. He cares about the outcome and accepts nothing less than right. He works with the client to be sure the result is everything dreamed of. I highly recommend Brad for your next project!

We've hired Brad several times before and the result this time was no different: WONDERFUL! He is extraordinarily skilled at his craft. He listens and provides excellent advice. He is pleasant to have in our home. He cleans up, not leaving a mess. His attitude is always positive. His prices are reasonable. We will be hiring him again.

Excellent! Would give him 10 stars if I could! We have done 2 major additions to our house over the years and Brad is absolutely the best "pro" that we have ever found.Does all the work himself, on time, neat as a pin, full of great ideas, seamlessly deals with the unexpected and problems and an pleasure to talk with. Dealt with the other trades on our behalf and they love him. On time and on budget and his cost to do the work was the lowest bid by $5K. My wife would adopt him if she could! He loves to do bathrooms and has a real flair for it. He's the best!

Extremely well. BC Andersen was very courteous and punctual. The work performed was excellent craftsmanship. Brad provided extra services of picking up supplies and replacing those that were not desirable. Very easy to work with and very responsive. Would definitely hire again. Master bath was more than the guest bath. Approximately 12K not including materials.

This is the second time we've hired Brad. Our first experience, (a 1984-vintage total bathroom remodel which I reviewed previously), turned out wonderfully. Now, five months after its completion, we continue to be very pleased with the result. The transformation of this room literally brings joy to us when we enter it. The new job Brad took on was very challenging. The marble curb surrounding the shower in another bathroom, (remodeled by a different contractor eleven years ago), was failing. There was a split in it which would eventually let enough water through to penetrate and cause significant problems. The repair to this had two major complicating factors: (1) how does one match the new curb marble with the existing surrounding marble? (2) Since the adhesive used to secure the failing marble was very aggressive, how do you extract the failing piece without damaging the surrounding curb marble, as well as the differently colored marble squares adjacent to the curb? Brad suggested a local marble supplier/fabricator who fortunately had an exact match for us, and did an excellent job fabricating (Bruce's Marble in Norwalk). We were quite fortunate to find such a perfect match for a natural stone originally acquire over a decade ago. Brad managed the interface with the fabricator, simplifying the process for us. Removing the failing marble was a painstaking process, but Brad did it. The damage to the surrounding tile was held to a lower level than we had feared, and Brad was able to repair that with new marble. Now, the shower curb looks like new. Additionally, Brad made sure the fabrication was done in a way to limit the likelihood of this problem occurring again. We are very pleased with Brad's work once again. His price was fair, the quality was excellent, and the guidance he provided was invaluable. Additionally, Brad is a pleasure to work with.

Brad did an excellent job on a complete bathroom renovation, including a closet with a washer and dryer. This involved a total demolition of our 1984 bathroom, converting it into a wonderful, updated one. He finished the work on time and on budget. I bid this job to three contractors and found Brad's bid to be reasonable. We recommended him to a friend who hired him for a bathroom renovation. She was pleased with his work. I am currently in discussion with him to do some repairs in another bathroom in our home. There were some challenging complications with our project, but not due to Brad. He came up with creative solutions that work perfectly. His quality of work, attention to detail, positive attitude, and work ethic are exemplary. Additionally, it is pleasant to have him in our home.

I'm extremely happy with Brad's work and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. He did a complete overhaul of my bathroom including full demo, new tub, new floor and wall tile, shower niche, custom shelving, new vanity, additional electrical outlets, installed all bathroom hardware & accessories, and painted. He was very responsive from the start. He came out to give an estimate the day after I called him and even returned 6 months later the day some back-ordered hardware was delivered. And his price was very reasonable when compared to the other estimates I received. I was most impressed with his overall knowledge of materials, methods, and installed products. He was happy to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot of them) and provide recommendations, and reasons for his reco's, when I was pre-ordering the bathroom finishes (tub, toilet, vanity, light fixture, tile, accessories, etc.). They say in construction you want a good price, quality work, timeliness, but you can only get 2 of the 3. Brad definitely provided all 3 at once.

We could not be more pleased with our results. Brad remodeled our full bath ( including relocating our toilet) and our half bath. He gave us a thorough consultation and cost estimate proposal. He had to work around and was able to rearrange some plumbing to make our new toilet location possible. He made it possible for us to shower daily except for 2 days which was wonderful since we have only one full bath in our home. He was punctual and worked extremely efficiently while still maintaining attention to detail. He came prepared daily to accomplish each task and was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. He gave great advise and was respectful of the cost. He did the complete job from demo to paint and accessories. We will have him redo our kitchen in the near future.

After 20 years of living with an outdated master bath my wife and I decided to do a full remodeling. We hired an interior designer to gather ideas and concepts and then went to Angie’s list to find a contractor. We selected 4 contractors to get estimates from but after speaking with Brad we knew that there was no need to look further. His expertise and knowledge around all areas of the remodel were fantastic. Not only did he know right away what we were truly trying to accomplish, he also made recommendations that our own designer didn’t think of, things that truly worked out for the space and our overall design. Brad and his team were very punctual, professional but most of all clean. Even though our whole master bathroom was gutted you would never have known that a major construction project was going on. Be it another bathroom or kitchen remodel, whatever we decide to tackle next we know that Brad will be part of the project. Thanks again Brad!

This is my second time hiring Brad (he remodeled my powder room in 2016) and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. He is all of the things you hope for in a contractor, but rarely find; he is friendly, timely, reasonable in his estimation given the topnotch quality of his work, and he completed everything on time and on budget. His expertise and advice during the remodel helped me decide what worked best for the space (a 1933 cape with dormer ceilings) and he invested the care I would have given myself had I attempted the project. I'll be hiring him again to redo my 2nd bathroom in 2019 and have recommended his services to friends and neighbors in the area! A+!!!

I can't say enough good about Brad and BC Andersen. After a visit, he provided us a complete and reasonable quote, with all inclusive pricing and an estimate of the amount of time the job would take. He really cared about saving us money, where it was appropriate to do so, but made sure that the job maintained the quality of workmanship and products that we had hoped for. It was so great that he and his team did all of the work, themselves (plumbing, electrician, painting, tiling, etc). He set expectations on his daily arrival time (8 AM) and was here every day on time. The entire area was clean, every day. We are so happy with the results.

We recently had our master bathroom redone and hired Brad for the job. He was easy to communicate with, very pleasant, and did an excellent job. We wanted to create a larger shower so Brad drew a new plan for the bathroom, asking questions to make sure it was exactly as we wanted it. I would highly recommend him, and plan on hiring him again for future projects.

Brad is wonderful! We had not undertaken a kitchen renovation before and were overwhelmed in many respects. We worked with a separate cabinet company and designer. Brad, however, was our go-to guy when we wanted to get an honest opinion on any aspect of the overall job, coordinating with inspectors and other contractors, etc. Brad and his team were prompt, friendly, on schedule and always cleaned up nightly. They truly were a pleasure to work with.

The experience with Brad was amazing. He was always available to answer our many questions and address our concerns, never acting like our questions were stupid or we were bothering him. Brad is excellent BOTH on the design aspect AND the construction aspect. He will tell you his ideas, what the alternatives are and what will and will not work. When little things go wrong with deliveries, parts etc., Brad knows what to do and how to find a quick solution. He is extremely knowledgeable, has done hundreds of bathrooms and is yet very approachable and friendly. He has an amazing work ethic - he basically comes and works intensively, getting more done than people who take twice the time. And he is done for the later part of the afternoon, so you can get stuff done too. The project was finished on schedule. Every day, he addresses what has been done, what is coming up and what problems can be encountered. We will absolutely be hiring Brad again and in fact were a little reluctant to write such a great review because he will be even harder to get. : ) A great choice. Don't be fooled by contractors who give this super low price and promise you the moon. Brad's prices may seem a bit higher, but you are getting full value and are not being lied to about what is happening later. 100% trust in him, 100% satisfied,
