The new toilet is fine.  However, the price was higher than quoted at the onset.  In fairness, they did take $100 off the final price.  

After making the appointment, I configured my schedule to be available at the appointment time frame, which was 9 to 11am. 
On the day of the appointment, nobody showed or called. After 11am came and went, I called up to see if the technician was running late but couldn't get a live person and was directed to leave a message. Nobody got back to me afterward.
I reviewed the company online and detailed what happened, but I never heard a word from them and moved on to another provider, so I considered the matter closed.
Over 4 months later, yesterday in fact, I got an email from the company, informing me that:
a) I posted the review about the wrong company and;
b) they'd appreciate it if I take down the review.
This is the first time anyone from Atomic Rooter had the courtesy to contact me since wasting my time last fall, and their approach is denial? I'm sure anyone who's dealt with poor customer service or a bad business in the past can imagine how irritating it is to be told "it wasn't us" after making an appointment weeks in advance and taking off of work only to be blown off. Super irritating in fact. 
Originally, I didn't recommend Atomic Rooter for failing to honor their appointment. Now, I'm also not recommending them for treating an honest and inconvenienced customer like an imbecile.

Our bathtub stopped draining yesterday. I poured in a bottle of Drano in the morning, and my husband tried plunging and snaking to no avail- still clogged.
I called Atomic Rooter around 7 am today and left my info with the answering service. Someone called me back within 15 minutes of my initial call, quoted me a price, and gave me a time window (11-3). The guys came right around 11:30 am, and were here for about 15 minutes total. They were friendly and professional, and most importantly, they got the job done! The tub is draining again, and they said the work is guaranteed for a month.
I would definitely hire them again. I won't bother with the Drano again next time, and will just give these guys a call!

We called to explain that we were having air bubbles coming out of our downstairs toilet when the upstairs toilet was flushed. They said it was a septic clog and we said repeatedly we knew it wasn't and our plumber had suggested it was an exhaust issue. They insisted we were wrong and came over and charged us $150 to tell us that we were actually right. They then installed an internal vent in our basement for $450 that did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem so they put a camera down our pipes and found a disconnect in the yard. They said they would have to excavate to resolve the issue further and it could cost between $1000-$3000. Since we had already paid them $600 to do nothing we said we would pass. We've since contacted another company who has offered to find the issue for free and then discuss fees based on what a possible solution might be. Needless to say we feel we were completely ripped off.

We called around 7pm to describe the problem and Joey arrived in less than an hour. He was very courteous and professional, patiently listened to our description of the issue and looked at several areas (bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, crawlspace) to get a full picture of what was going on.
The issue was a clog in the main sewage pipe leading out from our house to the road, This also led to another smaller clog closer to the house. Joey unclogged the pipe with a snake and stayed around for a few minutes to ensure the problem was fixed. He explained very well what he was doing, so that we always knew what was going on. He answered our multiple questions and gave advice on how to prevent the problem in the future. He offered to come back (for free), should the issue come back again on the next day. All in all he was here for about an hour.
A very good experience and i would/will use Atomic Rooter again in the future.
The only thing i can't speak to is the price, as i have no comparison / experience, but it seems fair considering the time spent between driving to and from the site and fixing the issue on site.

I initially called due to the slowly draining sink in the upstairs bath.  I was called back within 5 minutes of calling initially and an appointment was scheduled.  Larry snaked the upstairs bath sink and made it actually work again. They came only for this job.   Also asked Larry to give our toilet a look as it was wobbling after the tile install.  The installer put the toilet back as part of the bid.  Well, suffice it to say the tile installer did a crap job and thank goodness that sink clogged because we were just a wobble or two (or 5 or 10....who really knows)  from leaking pipes.  The toilet had cracked and the lead pipe that took all the nasties away was cracked as well.  It could have ended up a nightmare in my kitchen that I am currently remodeling.  
They were prompt, polite and very professional.  I am new to CT and don't know what prices really should be up here so I don't know if we paid average or a bit above, but I don't really care.  I will call these guys any time I have an issue because I feel 100% confident in what they do.   

They called me back within 10 minutes of my initial call and scheduled an appointment when I asked for it. They arrived early and got right to work as soon as we agreed on the job. Everything was done as promised and the job was left neat and clean when they were finished.
A very positive experience and I would definitely use them again or recommend them.

Our upstairs bath drain has been an issue since day 1 when we moved into the house in June, 2014.  One plumber snaked it and it did a bit better, but still wasn't draining that well.  Last night the tub said, "No more, I will not drain for you."  It wasn't totally clogged but so slow it was not to be used.  We tried several "Specials" only to be told snaking was not included in the special price.  We moved on to Atomic Rooter when I called today at 11:30 am.  Prompt call back with service provider to come by 2 pm. Polite service provider showed up at 1:20, snaked it and it drains as well as our pipes ever did in our newer homes.  We may have to get this done periodically as the house is older with narrow, galvanized pipes and we will call Atomic Rooter every time. 

One afternoon, I happened to notice that a section of my family room ceiling was bubbling from water. My husband located the source of the leak and was able to identify it was coming from our master bathroom tub's supply line. I immediately went to Angie's List in order to locate a plumber and was pleased to find Atomic Rooter. I left a message for Steve to contact me and he did so almost immediately. He even offered to have someone one site within an hour! That was so awesome. Joseph arrived at our home and was both professional and personable. He fixed the leak and explained to us what had happened. He also gave us a 30 day warranty on the work performed. We were very happy with Steve and his team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

They were on time and took care of it.  The young man that came out I will ask for again.  The price wasn't that bad and I had him do multiple things.

They arrived on time, performed the job requested and left clean work areas.

Everything went well and all were extremely courteous and right on time.  I would use them again in a NY minute...

The plumber arrived earlier than expected.  He had all his equipment and checked the problem.  He snaked the drain a few times, doing the best he could without damaging the pipe.  He cleaned up after the job was done.  We were very satisfied with this service and price and would definitely call them again.

My home needed its sump pump replaced after the current one failed to turn on automatically (following multiple days of torrential rains) leading to over 2" of water in my basement).  Steve from Atomic Rooter was great in answering all questions and within 2 days of contacting to explain my issue, he sent someone right out to install a new pump.  I would definitely recommend them.  Any questions or calls were returned promptly and their services were appreciated.

I called Atomic Rooter at 11am and by 3pm, everything was fixed. The gentleman was professional and courteous. He clearly explained what needed to be done and how he was going to fix the problems. He also gave me the price up front enabling me to say "no I couldn't afford the repairs" or to validate the needed repairs. I was very impressed with the speed of the entire encounter. I would recommend Atomic Rooter. In terms of price, I haven't had major plumbing issues in many years so I can't exactly comment on the competitive pricing of the job but it was done and seems to be done well.

Steve and his helper were very nice, knew what they were doing and did the dewinterization quickly and efficiently.  They highlighted where a couple of future issues may occur and that the furnace wasn't working, and I should call the installer to check why.  Steve explained what he was doing, showed me how I could restart the system myself and explained a water filtration system. They did say they would be there between 10am - 12pm.  I called just after 12, and was told I'd be called back within 5 mins, I called back another hour later and they did call back this time and said they would be there within the hour.  At 2.15 I had decided to give up and leave, 5 mins later they called and said they were at the house.  They waited another 30 mins for the realtor to return and unlock the house so they did make up for the fact they were so late by being very patient waiting to get access.  They were not the cheapest quote I got for the service but they could take the booking when I needed it (within 48 hours of me calling for the quote).

I called Steve for an estimate after reviewing comments on Angie's List. His team arrived within an hour of my call. The repair was tricky because it was close to the wall and in a tight-fitting utility closet. They repaired the leak in about 45 mins and charged a very fair price. I'm very happy with the results and responsiveness of Steve and his team!

Called around 9:15 am and got answering service, but company called back immediately. Service provider (KP) showed up around 11:15 am (before 11:30 as promised). KP was very courteous and professional effectively clearing the clogged drain and removing calcium deposits. He also provided advice on keeping the drain clear.

Steve was great in following up with me on replacing the faucet parts with original Koehler parts. There was also a problem with the hot and cold pipes not brig aligned to the signs on the faucet- the guys fixed that as well. It's functioning flawlessly now. Very pleased with the work. Thanks Steve.
