We used our nail magnet to clean all the nails on Ms. [Member Name Removed]' property and the nails she found were under leaves in her yard and from the dumpster after it was removed and she did not give us the opportunity to go and use the magnet to clean them up, she cleaned them up herself and then called us and gave us the bag of nails. Sometimes in the Fall nails hide under frozen leaves and we have to make several runs over the ground after the job is done and we told her we would come back to clean up nails but she asked us to drop off the magnet so she could run it around herself and we left it with her for several days. Our clean up is meticulous and we have hundreds of customers who can attest to this. We also warned her that the attic might get dust inside and we would clean it if this occurred but she did not give us the opportunity to clean it up. Our contract states to cover valuables in attic and she told us she had nothing in the attic so we explained that we would sweep it out after the roof was done in case there was any sawdust. She never gave us this opportunity and just complained on here about it. The ROOF did not leak, we told the homeowner the chimney needed to be repointed as we do not do masonry work and there are mortar cracks and problems with her chimney which caused water to pool down the flue and drip into attic. Homeowner did not give us the chance to pick up any nails left by dumpster company, and did not let us clean dust from attic (although our contract stipulates homeowners must cover valuables in attic for this very reason). We called the homeowner and tried to rectify her complaints of the nails and dust in attic but she did not respond, and when we did look at chimney and took pictures we never heard from homeowner again after we told her she needed to have her chimney repointed. It is impossible to make amends to a homeowner who will not respond to phone calls when we try to reach out to solve these small issues, and we respond to every dilemma and situation and 99% of the time, our customers are very happy and satisfied. It is unfortunate this homeowner chose not to let us help her. And we did the job in October 2015, not June 2017. She did not let us know she was dissatisfied, only complained about some nails and we dropped off her magnet and that was the last thing we heard. We explained that we would have been very happy to go back to clean up any nails missed hidden under leaves as it was Fall.
