Headlight bulb was replaced but not installed properly. The first evening I noticed light was shining up in the and quot;treesand quot; so I stopped at a Mobil station and inquired. The attendant opened hood and found the bulb had been installed improperly by the and quot;foreign car specialists.and quot;
Radiator hose was leaking. They ordered and replaced it.
Communication between the facility and myself was less than satisfactory. I had to call, repeatedly, to find out why it was taking so long (9-10 days). Their facility closes each day at 4:30 p.m. and are not open on weekends, so it's not easy to stop by after work. To catch the New York City train, I leave before they open in the morning (having to drop the car off and leave keys through a key drop). They offered no loaner car (while my car sat in their parking lot for days, not changing position, being observed daily by me from the train). The car was at their facility almost two weeks while they and quot;awaitedand quot; parts. Other work they did during this period (successfully) included repairing the a/c system, performing an oil change and checking the breaks.
I have had two experiences with this facility, each time taking many days while they and quot;waited for partsand quot; and didn't communicate with me until I called. I would suggest finding a different place for work on any foreign car.
"I wish we had come across this sooner and had an opportunity to address the repairs you felt were done improperly or unreliably. We just activated our Angie's List business account today. We take complete responsibility for any repair we perform and offer a warranty on parts and labor that meets or exceeds the dealerships. If any component is inadvertently damaged during our repair process it is always repaired or replaced as soon as possible. It is our policy to make follow up calls after each and every repair that comes through our shop and unfortunately these concerns weren't brought up when we did. This reviewer's name is not in our customer database, but because we take pride in what we do, we remember the circumstances, customer's name and car referenced dating back to July 2012. The technician that performed these repairs is no longer with us due to not meeting our high care factor. We are truly sorry we did not exceed your expectations and welcome the chance to correct any problems with our service or workmanship."
