Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs One of the worst experiences with a contractor. The drywall work was sloppy & unprofessional—gouges in the joint compound, visible tape, sections missed, thick, poorly sanded where the walls meet the ceiling. He said the painter should finish sanding (not true), lied, said the primer would hide the flaws (makes them more visible). We paid painters extra to fix the mess. He was so disrespectful. I pointed out issues he said I was "nit-picking," & reacted like a child having a tantrum—aggressively sanding above me, covering me in dust. I looked like I came in from the snow. I paid $2,500 for this nightmare. He didn’t lay tarps, we put tarps down ourselves afterwards. During his tirade he kicked up the tarp sending dust everywhere and on the carpet. He tried to float his own boat how everyone says he is so clean. The most outrageous part? He made a blatantly racist remark, saying, “I hate Blacks and Indians.” Absolutely disgusting.

After some miscommunication, he finally came to price the (very small) job with his worker. They were very nice, but he quoted me twice as much as everyone else. He did say that he had the materials ready and could get the job done ASAP, but we weren't in a rush and weren't willing to overpay that much. We used someone else that did a great job within a week for half the price!

The drywall work was fine, but they left the place a mess. Didn't put down drop clothes because the ones they had were "too big". Borrowed my shop vac and didn't put it away. Did mop the floors(with my mop without asking) but left so much sirt i had to clean the floor 4 more times and scrub places where compound got stuck. Also found globs of compound on tops of doors and on doorknob. Then I went to my recycle bin and found they threw all of the globs of compound in it - Probably 8 pounds. Overall, a disaster..........even though the ceiling looks good.

The rooms were left dirty--they were not "broom clean"  The cleaning that was done was performed with my shop vac and brooms. One of my socks was used as a paint rag. One worker threw the uneaten portion of his lunch in my yard and they left garbage in my garage.  The skimmed walls have gouges and ripples. Old anchors were not removed as requested. jAnd worst, they completely covered a heating vent with sheetrock.  It took two of us two hours to uncover the vent and install the cover.
