"Dear Craig, AS per the inspection done your chimney is older and has deteriorated. We can and are obligated to inform the town building inspector if we feel there is a true danger to you or to your neighbors due to your chimney. If a brick were to fall and hit someone in the face or head from that height could cause harm, if the chimney were to collapse into its self and back up into your home it can cause harm to you, your family, your pets. Yes these repairs can be expensive it is a lot of hard work it is a skilled labor and we use high quality materials we are not using basic material. We provide a service with materials we can warranty 10 years to a lifetime most companies do not. With us you get what you pay for quality work quality materials and a real warranty. You are not obligated to use our company or buy our products its an estimate if you choose"
