I left a message on the answering machine and received a call back within 15 minutes.  Joe was here and finished the job within the hour.  This was a great experience and I will definitely use JAM again.

His service fee is very reasonable.If you get the repair through him he deducts the service fee from the repair. He was reliable, punctual, and communicative. Everything was great.

It was no an easy task getting to the fan either. Saved me a lot of money!!!. I will use JAM again. Highly recommended.

He tried a quick (and cheap fix) but it didn't end up working. I appreciated that he tried to save me money and when he had to come back to replace a part he just charged me for the parts, not the service call. I'll be calling them next time we have an appliance issue.

Called JAM because our refrigerator fan was going on and off very quickly and he was the most inexpensive quote I received for a a service call. We were able to describe the problem to him over the phone and he had the part with him when he came for the call. Unfortunately, GE sent him the wrong part so he said he would come back again with the correct part and did not charge us. When the correct part came in, we scheduled another appointment right away. When he came for the appointment he said he had done some research on our model and said there were many defects with it, which the new part probably wouldn't repair. He replaced the fan and since he did not fix the problem he told us to call GE as it was probably our control board. He put everything back together and did not charge us. We appreciate his honesty and professionalism and that he did research for us. We will certainly us JAM again if the need arises.

JAM Appliance came to my house on a service call for my dryer. He
discovered that there was a short that was a safety issue with the
dryer, further it had non-standard European parts. He said he would
research the problem and get back to me. He called back a few days
later to say he was refunding the cost of the service call and that I
should take it up with the manufacturer because he believed there was a
defect. He refunded the money as promised and the manufacturer
acknowledged the defect and repaired the machine for free! I appreciate
JAM's honesty.

Our dryer stopped working in mid-cycle on a Sunday evening. In checking Angie's List I recognized this name as someone who had done several service calls for me a few years ago when I was living in Meriden. We called on Monday morning and were able to set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. The problem was diagnosed and repaired within 20 minutes for a price that was less than most others charge just for the service fee. We like to support individually owned businesses and would not hesitate to recommend JAM Appliance services!

JAM returned my phone call within 24hrs and came over at a convenient time for both of us. Joe took the broken heating element with him to ensure that the replacement element would work. Due to the winter storm we experienced, Joe was delayed by one day. So, instead of the stove being fixed within 24hrs of the initial meeting it was fixed in 48hrs. My stove is working wonderfully. Thank you.

Came over at 5 PM on a Friday to accommodate my schedule, with one days' notice. The work was efficient, quick and very reasonably priced. Problems with a dishwasher and a washing machine were both repaired for a total of under $100. Although not all problems will be as simple as mine turned out to be, I am happy to find someone very honest, skilled and efficient.

I called and left a message. He returned my call that day and said he'd have to check on the part availability. He called back within 10 minutes and set up a visit for the next day. He was pleasant, courteous, and professional and completed the job within half an hour. An altogether satisfying experience.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY FRIENDLY IN EXPLAINING TO ME WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY DISHWASHER. AFTER EXPLAINING IT TO ME, THEY WERE VERY QUICK IN SENDING SOMEONE TO COME FIX IT.
