I had driven my car slowly back from Mass. after being rear-ended. I probably should have been pulled over for driving with no tail lights, brake lights or turn signals front or back. I drove to a local body shop that I know friends have used in a neighboring town for an appraisal. I decided that I really should have two estimates to compare. I had heard several good stories about Shoreline Collision and Restoration in Madison, CT. so I decided to give them a call.
Bill Gilbert and his wife Annamarie are the owners. Bill answered the phone immediately when I called. Bill answered all of my questions professionally, was very patient and friendly. I arranged to bring it by the next morning. Bill was right there with a smile on his face and a handshake as he greeted me. He did an appraisal, spoke with my insurance company several times at which time we all agreed that Shoreline Collision and Restoration would do the repair.
Bill's wife Annamarie, contacted me that afternoon went over the whole process and offered to keep in touch with me as to the repair process. I cannot say how thrilled I am to have found such a professional couple in a business these days. They are to be commended for their expertise. The customer service that they both provided to me was beyond compare. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this business. You cannot even tell the car was in an accident. The best repair I have ever seen and they cleaned my whole care too!!!

They are trustworthy and helpful. I've had them do a number of repairs from Insurance covered full repair to small repairs that I paid for out of pocket. In each case they worked to my benefit and priority.
For the Insurance funded repair they negotiated with the Insurance company, ordered all the parts, completed the owrk on time in budget, even when they needed a couple of last minute pieces ( that they got the Insurance company to pay for)
For the out of pocket work they patiently reviewed the options for the repair until we agreed on the best and most cost effective option.
