During a summer heat wave, our central air conditioner wasn't working. 
We called Homestead on August 17, 2015.
They were available on the 17th, but we had a commitment out of town for the rest of the day.
They agreed to come on the 18th, Arrived first thing in the morning.
They diagnosed it, the capacitor was blown.
They replaced it, check the system to make sure it was cooling indoors.
We were pleased with their promptness and their service.

It went very smooth. The technician was nice and was done in about an hour. Last year my furnace had a lot of trouble trouble starting but it runs like a dream now. The technician was a lot later than the original estimate, but the office called periodically to keep me in the loop, which was great. I'd definitely consider them for future work.

Very thorough and professional.  They spent a lot of time answering my questions.  The one thing I wasn't prepared for was an additional cost of $100.00 for coolant which I thought would have been covered by the tune-up, but that was my oversight.

Fixed failed parts, replaced recalled part, cleaned system. without problems.

I have to say my experience with them was phenomanl!!!!  I made my appointment on line at midnight right after i got the call from my tenants saying they had no heat. They called me at 730 the next morning and got some one out there at 830 am, within in a few hours i had everything up and running, William who was my service guy was very knowledgable with the systems in my condo complex, I was nervous about who was coming and if they were going to know how to work on my system and  he figured it out quickly and explained everything to me as he was doing it and answered all of my questions. I felt safe and confident with him and trusted him completely,  I will keep them as my regular service team for my apartments,

Steve did an awesome job restoring our heat. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I recommend them.

Everything went well.  Repair man came on time and had the part that was needed.  he also gave us some recommendations for future tune ups that we appreciated because we just recently bought the house.  
We also get our fuel delivered through Homestead and they were great when we set up the whole process.

Did a great job inspecting the furnace as part of my maintenance contract with them. Identified and incorrect pressure relief valve and recommended replacement. 15% off replacement due to maintenance contract. Thoroughly cleaned and tested the furnace and all of its components
They also do great with deliveries.

I had never used Shaw before and was actually asking them for a second opinion. The symptoms I was having was my interior well pump kept kicking on every 30 minutes or so for about a minute at a time. As this was a new pump purchased by a local and reputable and quot;franchiseand quot; contractor I had them come take a look. It was not the pump, and this contractor then charged me $415 to dig a a 42 inch deep hole, to discover a leak in the pipe from well seal to the house.
Well, this franchise contractor basically tried to and quot;upselland quot; me complete pipe replacement and almost $1,500 for a backhoe charge alone. The total franchised contractor bill would have been almost $3,000.
Shaw came in, shovelled out a few more inches of dirt, found the leak, did the repairs, filled the hole. Nothing else needed to be replaced and they didn't need a backhoe.
Using Shaw's today saved me over $2,000. I won't use anybody else ever again.

The dispatcher notified us when the technician was on the way, or whether he was delayed. The technician kept us informed of the work to be done (and why) every step of the way.  He was professional, courteous and skilled.
We are very satisfied with the work that was done.  We are also pleased with the  the quick turn-around from when we first contacted Homestead and when the work was completed.

Took longer than expected, but workers were polite, explained every thing, and cleaned up everyday. Love the set-up-lost no closet space and hopefully save a lot of money because of efficiency.

Went very well. Technician showed up on time and gave me estimatefor replacement that was fair and job was completed that day. Quality instalation and clean up. Have used Shaws pump for years and very satisfied with their service.

I like them very much. They're punctual and their guys are very professional. They do what's needed and don't sell you anything extra. We've used them for 12 years now.

Short review:  Fair prices (for fuel, I suppose), responsive to customer requests and corrections, excellent professionalism.
More details:  When I couldn't get through initially on the phone call to make contact, I emailed the generic 'contact us' button.  Skeptical, due to past results of using the 'contact us' feature on websites, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call back within a day.  I was mailed a brochure, and was encouraged to call around for comparisons.  I set up an appointment with a salesman, and he arrived punctually and was very professional in appearance and conduct.  I had requested that fuel delivery occur as soon as convenient, which ended up being within a week of the sales visit - and received a phone call from the delivery folks when they realized that they'd booked me on a day that was already too busy... asking if it would be alright to delay delivery by one day.  The only complaint with the delivery folks was that they did not leave a copy of the ticket so I could confirm the billings against the metered delivery.  The account setup process in the office lagged behind the actual services provided, which resulted in being sent an invoice, rather than having the credit card billed.  When I called them to ask about the delivery ticket and the credit card payment, I was assured that a copy of the ticket would be mailed immediately (I had it within 2 days after the call), and the credit card info had not yet made it into my file, which was then immediately corrected, the card charged, and a receipt mailed to me for that as well.  I am scheduled to have a technician out to service the furnace this week (easily scheduled to meet my request for a time/date).

The experience was good and I give them all A's. I will use them again in the future.

Everything was fantastic with them.  They were very professional and very prompt.  Everything was great.  Their quality of work was good.  The person who came out to do the work cleaned up after himself.  The spigot is working perfectly.  The price was a little bit more.
