Called on a Sunday night and paging service had someone call us within an hour. As it wasn't an emergency so we opted to speak to the office on Monday morning. They called us as soon as they opened on Monday and provided a quote for the expected work. They had one of their guys at the house in the morning. Everything was explained throughout the investigation process and the blockage was cleared. They did a great job, very professional, price was as expected and very reasonable. Will definitely will consider Silvester our go-to contractor for septic related matters going forward.

WORK WAS COMPLETED AS CONTRACTED AND WAS PERFORMED TO MY SATISFACTION

All appointments were on time.  Workers were polite and punctual for the two days they were on the job.  All communication was timely from first call to job completion.  The company was easy to get a hold of and to discuss the job with.

The entire team including owner Bill was fantastic. They were polite, professional, fair priced, 
We interviewed many other vendors for the job and Bill was the only vendor who had a solution which did not require costing a pant load of money.  Many other vendors wanted to take drastic measures with out really examining and testing for the real problem.
Bills work was meticulous. in fact he made the workers re due a portion of the work bc he felt there was a better way to tackle the issue at hand.

Very professional work. Job completed as promised. All questions were answered to our satisfaction. underground drainage system solved the problem.

They weren't great at getting back to me at all. They made the drains go up really high on the side. The drains they put in were not flat to the floor. They weren't that good and were just okay. I had to call them to come back for something, so they were kind of satisfactory. I thought the pricing was totally fine.

I have used them for years and they have always done a good job for me.

Bill Silvester and his crew made the whole experience as pleasant as it could be considering the situation.  From the initial soil testing through working with the town sanitarian and the actual installation, the process went as smoothly and as trouble-free as possible.  Our installation presented many challenges that Violette Silvester handled with professionalism and concern for our budget and needs.  My only criticism is that the plumbing contractor provided by Silvester seemed to be costly.  However, the cost was offset by convenience of not needing to coordinate the necessary plumbing and septic work myself. I highly recommend them.

Price was fair for work done – Everything went according to schedule- When job was finished, Bob Silvester came out and explained everything to us – All that was promised was right on – Great job.

It went very well.  They took 4 days, were very professional and answered any questions we had.

I e-mailed Bill on a Thurs night and received an immediate response that he would call me the next day as I told him I had an urgent situation with a leaking basement. He called the next day as promised and scheduled to come over that same day. Bill arrived early and immediately was able to assess the situation. We had running water coming throughout the floor one one side of the basement. We did have a sump pump and it was working, but yet we had standing wanter on the floor. Bill guessed that the piping system for the perimeter drain was plugged with algae and the water pressure was building under the floor causing it to leak.  He came up with two plans to correct this but it really needed to be determined if we had pipes in our drainage system directing the flow of water to the sump or just stone. The only way to know for sure was to break through the floor. Bill said why not just bust a small hole to see and then we could know exactly what should be done. So we got a hammer and in 5 mins broke through the floor and exposed some clay pipe. We broke the pipe and found that significant amounts of alga were blocking flow. 
Billl recommend that we try to blow out the lines which would require break 4 more holes to expose the pipe and using a hose and special water jet device blow the algae through the system. I asked how soon he could do it and he said Sat. which was the next day. As promised his crew showed at at 8:00am on and within 2.5 hrs the job was complete. The basement is now dry and the water is flowing throughout the drainage system to the sump as it should.
We will monitor there system for two weeks and then Bills company will come back and cap the holes and put permanent clean outs in there so we can treat the system with chlorine to kill the algae on a regular basis.
Bill Silvester was very knowledgeable, did what he said he was going to do when he said he was gong to do it. I even got a follow up call asking me if I was satisfied with the work. Very professional.

Guys on the truck seem to do a great job, and to be very conscientious.
Would deduct a few points because they're not fully transparent on costs.  Specifically, they quoted me a price for the job BUT didn't mention the "dig fee" and the other misc. extra fees.  The Angie's discount is only on the base fee and none of the add-on's.
Overall, they're good BUT they'd be better if they were more transparent on costs.

Perfectly. They came as promised. Showed me what they would do, then did it. Out as scheduled.

Price was the best. Work went smoothly. They were able to do their work with the least amount of jackhammering of the cellar floor.
