I had an awful experience with Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning, and I truly regret hiring them. We told them up front we did not want the front gutters done ?but did not explain why. The truth is, I had already cleaned and inspected them thoroughly, including the downspouts. They ignored our request, insisted on doing the front anyway under the excuse of ?standard practice,? and ended up clogging my drain by flushing roof debris into a downspout that was perfectly clean. Then they told me I?d have to hire a plumber to fix the clog they caused. As for the back gutters ?the job we actually hired them to do ?they threw gutter debris directly into our lawn instead of collecting it. The first

Iâ ve been a loyal customer for several years at 2 different residences. They cleaned my gutters twice in the past year at this house at the same rate. I was on a service plan. I recently renewed my service plan with a small increase in price due to inflation (totally reasonable) I prepaid for 2 cleanings. I waited over a month for a crew to come out. Now itâ s mid-December with freezing temps. The crew showed up and left within 1 minute. I assumed it was because it was early morning and frosty and they were not able to do the service due to safety reasons. After numerous calls, I was finally told that it wasnâ t due to safety, it was because they could not do the service at my prepaid price. They wanted to charge me an additional $134 which is an increase of 40% over what I was quoted and prepaid for - and paid twice in the past! If there was an issue in price with the size of my house, I surely should have been warned at my last cleaning in the spring. And the company should have never renewed my contract at the same rate. In speaking with the supervisor, they agreed that I was not wrong, that they should have told me about the increase in price after my last cleaning, and should not have renewed my contract at the same price. However, even in admitting that they were at fault, they would not honor the contract that I prepaid for. I have since gotten 2 in person quotes from 2 reputable llc gutter cleaning companies, both of which quoted me the same price I was previously paying Ned Stevens. Terrible customer service, price gauging loyal customers, terrible company. Stay far, far away

The workers did a great job, cleaning the gutters by hand then hosing them clean. Cleaned up the yard after. They even replaced a 1'-2' section of downspout for free that had been damaged by our lawn mower hitting it over the years, without me even asking them to do it. I will use them again.
