Description of Work: Well, it is difficult to judge a system covering my gutters until a year has gone by and I see if it indeed keeps leaves out. The sales pitch from the salesman was beyond high pressure. We started out at $4500, before long we were at $3500 When a representative came to look at my house, he announced that some of the gutters could not be covered. So a revised price was $2500. I am a bit suspicious of a company that sends out a salesman who does not even know what kind of gutters his product can be used on. So--maybe a year from now I will have a better idea. But even then--how many people crawl up two floors to see if a leaf filter even works?

Description of Work: We have a very large house, so we thought the price was fair, although high. We had some problems with existing gutters that the company agreed to mitigate at no charge. The installer (Jeremiah) actually came up with clever solutions, and went beyond what was required to ensure that everything was the best it could be. We had some ice dam problems this year, and I think the changes Jeremiah made, which had nothing to do with the Leaf Filters, may actually prevent the problem from happening again. He was very good and professional. |As far as the product and installation were concerned, we were very satisfied (although we have only had them a week). We are especially happy to have a product that does not intrude into our roof in any way. It appears that the product is well designed to perform as promised. Time will tell, but we are optimistic.

Description of Work: Replaced my gutter screens throughout house. The scheduling was a little bit of a challenge, but once they showed up, it appears that they did a nice job, just hard to tell because you can not see the work from the ground. But they were professional and completed the job on schedule.

Description of Work: Absolutely the most deceptive and rudest contractor I have ever encountered. I begin by saying I am not a competitor of LeafFilter (they will tell you the bad reviews are written by competitors). I am a single Mom, homeowner, and educated. When spending several thousand dollars I feel it important to do due diligence. I called LeafFilter twice with questions on installation, product performance and warranty. The answers were evasive and misleading. After reading the warranty for myself I realized the LeafFilter, LLC warranty explicitly excludes contractor installation (i.e., LeafFilter North), the micro screen mesh clogging and preventing water from entering the gutter, and damage from ice dams or ice clogs (typical of harsh New England weather). I declined the quote and canceled the installation. | |The true lack of professionalism showed in the response from the LeafFilter North Operations Manager. Shane Corbett wrote, "Well I want to be the one to tell you thank you for relieving us from having to attempt to make you happy. You are not the type of customer we want anyways. Your numerous calls and assumptions caused me headaches even before any work was performed on your home was a huge red flag for me and I was looking for an opportunity to decline your job because I knew there was no way to make you happy. Thank you, really."
