Very personable guy, seems very honest. Could have done several other services which we inquired about, but he told us we’re just not necessary and would waste our money. I really appreciate that from a contractor! Its a first in Greenwich! Prices were reasonable and service was quick and tidy. He was very responsive and prompt from our first contact onward. I will definitely use him again and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Steve was on time, friendly and careful to keep his work area clean. He explained everything he was going to do beforehand and was very professional and quick. He also made sure to explain how to safely use a fireplace as I had never used one before. Steve was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly.

I asked to clean two flues but he did only one for my boiler. He explained two reasons he could not do the fire place flue. I have not used the fire place more than ten years also have no intention to use it in the future, so I did not ask further. But I wanted chimney caps on the top and asked him to do that. He accepted my order and purchased them, brought them a few days later on June 4th, and tried to install them but he said his ladder is too short and cannot do the work. I just purchased the caps from him and that's the end of him. Presently I am looking for another chimney man to install.

Very straightforward - returned call, gave estimate, made an appointment (he was booked for a couple weeks so had to wait), came a little early, cleaned the chimney, answered many questions I had about the stove, the pipe, wood fires, was very clean with the work and was out in under an hour. He is now filed in the home notebook and we will call every year. I think he wound up with a conflict with the date we had set, but called well in advance and we changed. Very professional services.

It went extremely well. I would highly recommend this company. He is very honest, reliable and neat and not a rip-off like I have seen in the past with these companies. Prior to Chimney Swifts we did get an estimate from another chimney cleaner company who told us that we needed all kinds of repairs and that the price would be approx. $2900. Being a smart consumer, I always get more than one estimate. Good thing I did because Chimney Swifts came in and found no major problems. If you want someone, reliable and honest, use this company. You won't regret it...

We got a prompt call back. Steve showed up punctually, cleaned the chimney very neatly - no dust or dirt in the living room in spite of getting a lot of stuff out of the chimney. He cleaned up after himself totally. Great job! Polite, professional, friendly, would definitely recommend these guys.

We have used this company several times over the years. They have been consistently courteous, prompt and professional. Our chimney only needs cleaning every other year since we don't make that many fires. They always give us a general evaluation and never try to sell us any service or repair we don't need, unlike a company we used once before we found these guys! We recommend Chimney Swifts wholeheartedly.

THE MAN THAT CAME TO MY HOUSE TO EVALUATE MY SMOKE PROBLEM AND TO CLEAN MY CHIMNEY WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, PLEASANT AND THOROUGH. HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON MY CHIMNEY CLEANING AND WAS METICULOUS IN CLEANING UP AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE.
