Erick was superb. I had a xeriscaping plan and wanted someone to develop it. He knew how to read it and knew the vegetation which was not the case with some other bidders. He also grasped the difficulties of revamping an old lawn. I have a 1917 house and lawn with lots of tree roots, weeds and an old sprinkler system. He suggested that I remove my whole back yard and put in a new sprinkler system due to major issues in trying to modify an aging one. He also suggested that he do the front lawn only as it was late in the season and I could decide if I wanted him to continue with the back yard which was the expensive one. I agreed and he asked that I met him at a rock place so I could pick out boulders and rocks and mulch. He really listened and made excellent suggestions. So we proceeded. He was working for another landscaping company so just worked week-ends which was fine with me. He didn't have any business in Greeley but was more than willing to be here. He had four helpers who were a delight- extremely polite, efficient and friendly. It was clear that there was mutual respect with each other and Eric. Eric checked with me with substitutions due to choices late in the season and he rearranged some items after they were planted at my request. He was very creative and the end result was pretty unique in this neighborhood. It was a blend of rather modern boulders, lots of flowers, bushes, slim columnar evergreen trees, and antique fairy lights. It surprised me and it took me awhile to adjust even though I liked it. I expressed this to him and he was ready to modify it in any way. In the meanwhile, my friends really liked it and were impressed. A couple of weeks later one of the helpers was here to dig up and reposition the trees. Eric had driven by and realized that as they grew they would run into the roof. I hadn't noticed. Recently the lights went and I called him. He responded immediately and made plans to come by the next day. He fixed it and told me what to check if it happened again but to let him know. I have contracted with him for the major overhaul of my back yard this spring and told him I might want to offer part of the back yard as a community garden and he immediately offered to set up a sprinkling system for that and said it would be no problem for them to work around it. After many years, he has now left his other job and is self employed. When another neighbor so his work last October, she immediately employed him. I recommend that others do the same.
