I was referred to Woofter 4WD by another of my favorite auto specialist - JJ Tracks. I needed some customized transmission and differential work that JJ's didn't do. Zak Woofter is the real deal. He's just starting his company, but he has a load of experience having worked for years at The Diff Shop. Because he is eager for business, his labor rates will beat almost any established automotive repair in COS (maybe the whole state). What struck me most about working with Zak was his honesty. As we all know (and maybe have experienced) we are at the mercy of the repair shop when we drop off our auto. I'm sure most are trustworthy, but we really don't know if all the work, all the parts, all the prices are what they should be. I have total trust with Woofter 4WD.
The work completed was absolutely perfect and at a very acceptable price. Zak kept me informed every step of the way, and he went out of his way to find the best price for parts, not simply buying from the dealer, etc., and passing the cost on to me. This old truck, which has been a labor of love in its restoration journey, now drives like almost new.
I highly recommend Woofter 4WD. Top craftsmanship at a great price.
