Nightmare experience. This man is a crook! Quoted price in writing with note on bottom stating that if he ran into solid rock he would add additional costs. Gilpin county is mostly solid rock. This seemed normal to us, but he does not discuss additional costs with you until job is done and then he bills you. Demands payment or will turn over to collections immediately. He billed us double the quote amount, embellishing costs such as delivery charges both ways to rent a hammer part needed to break up the rock, that his business does not own. Because Gilpin county is mostly solid rock, make sure that the business you hire owns equipment needed to complete your job. He charged us $200. delivery charges each way to pickup and return rental. Initially he billed us $750. for a rental that the company even gave us a quote directly for $265. He also embellished and made up labor costs, terribly. Never knew when he would return or how long he would work. Never worked more than three hours a day. We have a home security systems showing when he arrived and left. Two day job was completed in four months, because weeks would go by without seeing or hearing from him. Every time he came he would bring his small backhoe machine and then take it away charging us on the final bill for additional moving of his equipment which was his decision to do so each time and had nothing to do with us or our project. He would state that he had another job that he had to get to. He also cut and then damaged our main electric power line into our house doing the job, costing us thousands with an electrician to repair and replace. Asked him for insurance Company policy number to file claim, but he would not give it to us. Totally unprofessional, undependable, unreliable work. In the end we are dissatisfied with the completed job and will have to hire someone else to redo to make it right. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!
