Well Ford is famous for turning a $35 part into a $800 repiar job and looking in the repair cost guide it is estimated as 8 hours to do it (you need to take the entire dash about to even get to the part - crazy) - well Ric had just expereinced another customer about 6 months before I came in and he told me that he had a way wher it would only take about 4 or 5 hours labor - and with shop labor costs a savings of 3 hours is good.
I dropped it off and my wife and I left town for a week on vacation. When we got back, the job was done at almost half of the costs listed in the auto repair cost guide and it worked like a charm - the interior was great - couldn't tell the dash board had been taken apert , it wasn't dirty or anything.
I live in bailey (the past eleven years) - I've been taking my cars to Ric's for years, and I don't hesitate if something goes wrong with one of my vehicles now to take it up and have him look at it.  He takes the time to personally talk to you - take a look - tell you what it could be, what he can do to help you , and what it will probably cost - I don't think he has ever underestimated a price for me buy more that 10 or 20 bucks.
He's a great guy with a lot of return business so there are times he won't be able to get you in right away, but he will - and some times if he is going to be up there on a Saturday working (the shop isn't open on the weekends) he'll still tell you to run it by and he can take
a look at it.
