Parker Square Family Practice and Urgent Care

Dr. Jana Jacobs was a little cold and clinical for my tastes.  As a new patient I compiled some of my old blood test results for her review.  She took a copy of the last blood test and made me feel stupid for bringing any others.  A little cold, but I decided to keep giving her a chance, maybe I was overly sensitive and nervous going to a new Doctor, and maybe she was having a bad day.  She messed up on my prescriptions, but after talking to the pharmacy and her office, we got it straightened out.  My next visit was with the nurse, it went much better, but they still messed up on my prescriptions.  Trying somewhere else.

I am completely satisfied with my new doctor, Dr. Jana Jacobs. A folow-up appointment to take a biopsy of my dry skin ended up not being necessary because the prescription worked so well and so quickly to heal me. I like Dr. Jacobs' approach. She listened carefully to my concerns and all the attempts I had made to take care of it on my own, and I think her taking that time with me helped us together to find a solution.

I look for a doctor who sees herself/himself as a partner with us patients in the healing process. In my view a lot of the success of getting well and being healthy is in lifestyle choices and healthy habits of us patients. I see Dr. Jacobs as my kind of partner and I look forward to a long and healthy relationship with her.

She is professional and I never have to wait longer then five minutes. Everyone at the office is very friendly and efficient. Dr.Jacob very knowledgeable.

The office staff is very good and fit you in on a short notice. They are good with the reminder calls and I haven't had any problem with their billing. She is very honest, punctual and gives good answers that make sense.
